That being good (I haven't checked) or if you were in the UK, from that manufacturer I would steer you also to the newer Redmi Note 10 Pro (same soc sd732) better AMOLED screen and similar sd card support and headphone jack.

Though for speed and value, and to name confuse you more (Xiaomi do that), the Poco F3 has great spec and screen (SD 870, 5G), and has been reduced here in both 128gb and 256gb variants.

Also the Poco X3 Pro has the SD860 on 4G.

I've had two models for close to a year and very pleased with them. Definitely as good as Samsung imv.

You can remove any adverts through various settings (You Tube has advice), and extra bloat ware apps like LinkedIn, Facebook etc are uninstallable.
If I don't sign in to copycat Mi apps (Samsung do similar) like browser, notes and cloud apps they don't interfere, and apparently are uninstallable with the latest MIUI 12.5 UI, though I wasn't able to here)

None of this is what you were asking, I understand, but oddly the android forums I've looked at such as Android Central have little input from Xiaomi owners, and you'll know they are not currently marketed in the US.

The latest models due , 11T and 11T Pro offer 4 years monthly security and 3 years OS updates, or the other way around, and there is mention this will be offered to current models also.

I also avoid the playstore as well, in addition to f-droid and uptodown, i also use aptoide. Between those three, there's really nothing else I need.

That might help determine if want to kind of cellular coverage your phone is receiving based on where you're located.
Take a look at the APN setting in your phone and compare it to the one in the S21. to see if they match exactly or if there is some difference. If there is a discrepancy that might be due to just how each phone auto-configured its APN setting when a SIM card was inserted the first time. You might want to try creating a new APN entry matching those in the Galaxy S21, or use the APN settings from T-Mobile's site:

Tolerances inside a smartphone often involve fractions of a millimeter (micrometers) so just eyeballing if your phone is bent out of shape isn't likely. If you see the front glass is developing hairline cracks or the outer casing has little stress faults than you know there's probably a problem. Otherwise, don't worry about it. The push to make phones more durable over the years have resulted in phones that are much more durable (add an exterior casing can be an additional benefit). Just don't forget that phones are tougher to damage now, but they're not designed to be intentionally abused.

If the back pocket of your pants really is the only viable place to keep your phone and you do opt to just keep sitting on it, there will be a cumulative effect where eventually there will be an resulting effect. Could be minor and your phone's functionality isn't affected in any way, but do note that the battery inside is something to be wary of. A smartphone battery is definitely not a flexible item. Bend it or puncture it and even though it's relatively small there can be nasty resulting consequences. There's actually a good amount of energy inside, where power is used or stored in an interactive exchange of various chemicals (lithium being a primary one). If your A52s battery does get physically damaged, in a worst case scenario there could be enough heat from short that there's fire. But the odds are more likely to be a messy, thick goo oozing out so given your phone is pretty much sealed inside the capillary effects will draw that gunk into all kinds of places. Basically just treat your phone with some respect, it'll last longer and run better.

I have never had a problem with my fingerprint and Google Pay. I don't even open the app, I just put my finger on the sensor and hold the phone near the magic thingie.

That's the only experience I have, other than using my finger to prove that I am who is authorized to do something.

Works every time.

these are full page browser hijackers that are difficult to even back out of without a good browser.

And by good, I mean anything not associated with Google.

And by you getting apps from F-Droid instead (as I do as well) you demonstrate that privacy is security.

Security in your private matters is privacy by definition.

Therefore, privacy is a part of security.

You might try scrolling down from the suggested list and then click on the app icon you wish to use to send the pic. It should then open a box to type the contact name. Once you start typing it should auto fill. This is the way my S21 works...

Can the battery come out?
If so, take it out, and then hold the power button and volume down button together for a slow count of 60 (approximately 60 seconds).

This makes sure that all of the capacitors are drained of energy.

Then reinsert the battery, plug it into a charger, and hold the power button until it begins to start up.

Hi, I have had similar issue (couldn't read json files from external storage). It turns out the reason is that in Android 11 they changed entirely the way how application can access media files.

In order to use the same File API to get ALL files in Android 11, you need to do following:

1. Add <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" /> to manifest
2. Check if you have all files access by using: Environment.isExternalStorageManager()
3. If you don't, you can request the permission this way:

FWIW my China variant Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra doesn't show any volume warnings, unlike my EU variant Galaxy S7.

This does sound like there's some kind of glitch that's causing the authentication step of just lock up on itself. Could be some some kind of compatibility issue due to something like a system upgrade but that's a situation where you have an existing Family Link set up and implemented and then an operating system upgrade gets installed. Since this is a new phone, unless it was a matter where you had Family Link set up on it and then applied an OS version upgrade, a more likely occurrence is some config file became corrupted and it's a matter of getting past that.
Try going into the Settings >> Apps menu on her phone, find and open the Family Link app entry, tap on Force stop, then find and tap on Clear data. Using Clear data will wipe the app's settings and config files, and the app's cache. This essentially returns the app back to its original first time used state so when you start the app up you need to go through the entire set up and configuration process again.

Yes, it might revert to the screen timeout that you have set.

There are some apps that can keep your screen on, but remember that this will drain your battery.

Probably the best method is to open Developers Options and use the Stay Awake feature.

This will let the screen dim after the set timeout, but it will not go completely off.

It will only be active while the phone is charging, so it will not drain the battery.

This is especially useful in the car, both during calls and for playing music.

This is why I don't even bither with the voice crap.

I save time because I do not need to go back and check everything that I said.

When my sister changed numbers I was able to still see her Whatsapp messages I had but they didn't have her name displayed, just her old number. Of course I never sent to that number again but added her new number and used that one.
No clue about saving conversations, not a concern for me lol

I finally fixed it; I had to go into Settings -> Accounts -> selected "Email". Then, I used the "Manual" setup option to get it working. I used:

Port 993
For whatever reason, doing this manually made it work and I'm back in business. I have no idea why whatever the other process does didn't want to work.
