For Samsung, I like their top of the range phones, like Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series. Of course I don't know what your budget is.

When my notifications come through, the time and date also pops up and stays on the screen. Does anyone know how I can set it so that only the notification light around the camera illuminates?

I'm using Nova Launcher and Textra.

I am kind of wondering if that led a worm through my Desktop hmmm..

I have a single EditText view. It normally has text in it that represents a number. I would like the user to be able to tap in the view and have the contents be cleared. Then the user puts in a new number and taps "Done" on the keyboard. The keyboard should go away and the EditText should retain the new value for future access.

If I just let the user tap in the EditText the "old" value will still be there and the user will have to delete it one character at a time before entering a new value. Then tap Done on the keyboard.

I tried an OnClick that:
thisEditText.setText("");
This will clear all the text and allow the user to enter new text. But when the user is finished the user has to tap the "Done" button on the keyboard. When that happens the EditText is cleared again and the keyboard remains. There doesn't seem any way out of this state.

Any ideas?

Ive rooted my phone and installed xposed but everytime I try to flash xposed framework, I keep bricking my phone... I don't know whats the problem.
I have a 4 year old phone running

I don't know if im doing something wrong on my end but I've read up every article I can on XDA forums and watched a lot of YT tutorials.
But I can't get it right.
And I don't even know if xposed can get me what I want.
I don't know 1 line of code so it's pretty hard for me.

I'm a 3D student, so before I get in too deep, I have to abandon this.
I wanted to do this for a video, Ill try to achieve what I want with editing!!

I'd love to continue it some time in the future!
Hopefully I will.

In the relatively short time I've been a member of AF, I've noticed several OP regarding purchasing a used Samsung online and not knowing what version to flash via Odin. Especially when it comes to the CSC. No more blind guessing now theres Frija auto mode.
And did I mention FREE!!!

The more photos you take the better you'll get.

you just explained why -- the phone left the factory as a LOCKED phone and that is how its ESN is seen to the carriers. when you walked in with the phone "unlocked", their database shows that phone is supposed to be LOCKED to a carrier. So since it has illegal software (in their eyeas) they are not going to touch it. its quite simple really.

put your phone in safe mode. safe mode does not allow 3rd party apps from running. if it stops, then you most likely have an app that is creating the problem. you will then need to uninstall any recent apps to fix the issue. start with your most recent and work your way backwards.

before you uninstall an app, delete first it's cache and data......and then uninstall the app. adware like you have sometimes can reside in cache or its data files.
