Help How to delete photo attachments on Gmail

Hi Bro,

In order to delete attachments you have to delete the emails that have attachments. In order to do that, click on the drop down menu on the search bar in Gmail. You would find different options From, To, Subjects to name a few. At the bottom, you would find has attachment option. Just tick on that, and it will show the list of all the emails that have attachments. Now simply select all the emails at once by ticking the box located at the left corner near the inbox and it will delete all the email that have attachments. You can check this blog for more help: https://unboxstop.com/how-to-delete-attachments-from-gmail/

Help Display corruption when video is playing

Yeah, I would try a different browser with the same websites, and see if the problem disappears.

I am not a fan of chrome.

Anyway, if you hve an Androud, you have Android System Webview built right in.
This is good, because all you need is a 'wrapper' app to give you an interface to that, and then you have the fastest browser available for that device.

Luckily, there are a few out there.
There is one in particular that many imitate- Lightning.

I have my favorite, IDM+, and it is an advanced version of the original.

Following are links to the original, and a couple others that have different features (but are based on Lightning).

There are other browser wrapper apps for Android System Webview, but Lightning and its children are fast, secure, and extremely easy to use.
I have been using them for years.
Let me know of any questions or issues.

how to prevent & fix videos that play upside down

Detecting it first may be an issue.
This is because (like me) you watch it on the device it was recorded on first, right?

lol

My camera app does the same thing.
Sometimes.
It's not even consistant.

Anyway, a nice video editing app will make fixing it a snap, and can give you even more cool options that you may enjoy.

Personally, I like YouCut.

There is no watermark in the finished product, and quality loss is low.

There are ads, but they do not interfere with the task onhand, and they do not appear at any other time except for just before it makes your video.

Turn off all internet access (I just use a firewall to block that app's access) and you will have an ad free experience.

In your particular case, the 'flip' feature will turn your video over.

This editor will also allow you to put multiple videos together, even adding pictures and/or your own soundtrack, and other options.

S21 5G Order Delayed

Purchased from Samsung 2/12/2021 and given a delivery date of 2/16/2021. It’s the gray, 256GB version. Yesterday, 2/13, I received an email saying my order has been delayed. No other info. Anyone know what’s causing this? I guess it could be weather in US (winter storms everywhere) and/or COVID, but would like to know.

Android studio tools to build client for REST API

Hello, in .NET platform nobody build manually client of REST function, need to set endpoint URL and client review endpoint with ?WSDL suffix (for REST in SOAP/WSDL/DISCO) or /help (with WebApi format), than client make automatically all methods to communication with parameters. I'm newbie in Java and Kotlin programming - how to perform similar function in Android Studio? Need something plugin or what?

Streaming issue after system update

My S10e went through a system update in January 2021 and one aspect of streaming has changed. I stream a local radio station via Chrome using the station's own streaming link. After the update, the streaming stops after a minute or two. If the phone is plugged in/charging, it continues without interruption. I have not been able to figure out any battery or power setting that is causing the stream to stop.

Hulu and YouTube apps work fine under battery power, so that makes me think I'm simply being pushed toward using dedicated apps rather than a browser.

If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear from you.

Eric

Let me suggest one scenario I have experienced. If I begin streaming some audio in the house and go for a walk, the streaming stops for a while and then re-starts. What was happening for me is that in my house, my wifi signal is robust and the phone connects with that. On the walk, the phone has only has mobile data to use, so when my wifi signal is lost and any buffering is used up, I have loss of signal until the phone decides to connect to a weak LTE signal. The solution to losing the signal was, for me, to stop the phone's wifi signal when leaving the house; that way, it stays connected to the LTE signal.

Help Backup game data when cloud save unavailable.

Rooting was the last thing I was going for too. I heard it gives full control to your device and full access to private data but is quite risky, you'll likely lose the warranty of your phone and one misstep can lead the phone turning into a "brick".
Oh well... um... :(
It's also not something to do without making sure you understand the process - which is always to some extent specific to the model of phone.
And because it usually affects warranty status (and on some phones, particularly Samsung, there may be no way of undoing it that removes evidence that it had been done, which may itself be enough to refuse warranty support), and also because some apps won't work on rooted phones (many media apps, almost all banking or mobile payment apps), it's really not fair to do it to a phone that you are about to pass on (in some cases there are workarounds for this, but that's more stuff to learn in very little time).

Basically I would not recommend this at this point unless you already know what you are doing and how to undo it (which for root itself means "reflash the phone with a new set of official firmware") and unless the recipient is happy with you doing that (because you probably can't do anything about the warranty status - even reflashing to stock won't fix that). And, as noted, for many devices the process of rooting will involve a factory reset of the phone, which will destroy the data you are trying to save (and no, you won't be able to recover them, for several reasons), and for some devices, especially many US Samsung models, there just isn't a way of doing it. So overall I don't think that root is a reasonable solution at this point, I only mentioned it because it would be the only remaining way I know.

Can't write to SD card

You can check it's integrity with a computer using H2testw https://www.heise.de/download/product/h2testw-50539 Which basically fills the SD with data, and checks if it reads back correctly. Fake SDs have a much smaller capacity, like 2GB, and are doctored to deceive the OS into showing a much larger capacity.
Though if the card has failed and can't be written to you won't be able to run that test. And TBH if you can't write to it it doesn't matter much ;).

But it's good advice generally if you are going to buy cards online, especially if the price looked "attractive" and the seller wasn't a big brand themselves (and the fact that they've give a 50% refund suggests to me that they are not). If you are wondering why I'm favouring big brands here, it's because you not only are much less likely to get a bad card, but you have a much better chance of getting your money back if you do - an individual who has set up an online marketplace business selling fake cards will usually just close down once they start to get complaints and then relaunch under a different name.

Google fi roaming

As has been said before, the speed when roaming depends on the network you are roaming on and not on your service provider. So what this tells us is that there are good networks and strong coverage in Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland (which I can confirm for 3 of those countries, I've not been to Slovakia recently enough for my experience to be relevant).
