S10e text customization

So I just switched carriers and upgraded my Galaxy s8+, which I really love, to this one. One of the features that I also really love seems to no longer be available. Did Android or Samsung do away with the text customization? It really bothers me that I can no longer do this.

I know this reply is a little late but you can still customize your wallpaper for individual contacts on the s10e. I know you've installed a different app for that so this is FYI for anyone who needs it.

Help Trying to allow exceptions through Do Not Disturb

Everbody's device is different, but on mine...

Settings
Sound
Do Not Disturb preferences
Automatic rules

You may need to activate Do Not Disturb mode first.
(not sure)

To do this, find the quick setting tile on your pull down menu that controls the ringer.
Tap it multiple times, and Do Not Disturb is one of the options.
(again, my device is not your device)

Cobra Kai

I tried watching some Cobra Kai, but it seems rather far fetched to me. Like are American high school students really into Karate fighting like that?

I've been in China for 12 years now, and from what I've seen not everyone is Kung Fu fighting.

Apeiron Vpn Free Vpn

In my opinion, Apeiron Vpn is very useful for people who do not know how to use vpn services and do not even understand what they are for. Vpn is a virtual private network that allows you to use the Internet while maintaining confidentiality, that is, if you want to visit your favorite site, no one will even know about it, also when checking your profile, and so on. All your actions become anonymous. Also recently I came across one firm PinpointVPN which provided several reviews on quality vpn services. I still use vpn because all my actions that I have done on the Internet become encrypted.

Help Hard press home button doesn't work

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried factory reset and that didn't help anything. I also took the phone to a Verizon store to see if there was some setting that I had wrong and they told me the settings looked good. So I think it must be a hardware problem. I'm going to send the phone back. In the meantime, I bought another S9 plus and that one seems to be working fine. Which also reinforces my conclusion that it was a problem with that phone itself.

Thanks again.
thanx for keeping us posted. i'm glad you got a replacement. hope you have better luck with this phone.

poor reception

Haven't encountered problems before using WiFi Calling on a 2.4GHz band WiFi network before, nor read that is a 'requirement'.
I would instead suggest using whichever is providing the best signal strength. 5GHz band can provide faster bandwidth speeds but a 2.4GHz band signal can penetrate things like drywall better, and at longer coverage range. So depending on the situation, it's not an absolute that a 5GHz band WiFi network is always going to be the best option. If you're in the same room as your router, the 5GHz band signal will be better if you're in a separate room further away and a 2.4GHz band signal might be better. It's easy enough to just look at the little WiFi icon in the upper menubar and switch from one network to the other, or for a more comprehensive, more visual WiFi signal strength gauge, use something like this 'WiFi Analyzer (open-source)' app:
