It seems Google's anti-theft protection does a factory reset if there are 10 incorrect PIN attempts on the lock screen, and my butt doesn't know my PIN. After some research, this feature can be disabled by first removing the Google account associated with the phone and then performing a normal factory reset from within the phone's settings. Super frustrating.

I'm sorry to hear this happened, but at the same time glad......It seems to be an issue, My Kyocera has factory reset 2 times in the past 4 months....Very frustrating but glad I learned how to google back up, it has been a life saver!!!! Same issue, it does it while in my pocket....

Message/Text issue

It worked fine until the December 2, 2020 update. I used to use Verizon +, but after update, android auto thought it was an International call, message never delivered. I thought maybe a setting in my phone changed. UGH. Also night mode is no longer automatic. They need to fix these issues, or so much for not having distracted driving.

I've only been in car couple times and listened to podcasts, but that has been flawless. Still waiting for my new Samsung Bud Pro to play with those. My free Galaxy Tag came yesterday.... No clue what I would use that for though.

I received my tag with my Ultra. However, my shipping info says I should get it today? If you think one is worthless... what about two? :) I'm with you, I see no value in the tag. It communicates via BLE as well. I hope it works better than the BLE to my aids.

The camera.. just WoW! It's been frigid here so I've not capped any outside but the quality of inside and selfie shots blow me away. Night and day compared to my old Note. I can't wait to get outside with this phone. 10X...can't wait!

No free screen protectors on U.S.A. S21 devices

I pretty much never use a screen protector, and when my S20 Plus came with one I told myself I'd remove. But it was on there so perfectly I left it. I'm careful with my devices so not having on the S21 (ultra) isn't a huge deal, but with the other cost savings, and hearing international got it, I would have rather they provided it again. Of course, if they found most just removed, I can see this being a worthwhile cost savings, I guess.

id go for a j3 emerge I have one its version is 6.0.0 but can be rooted via twrp it may not be on your list but it has a good camera 1.5 gb of ram 16 gb storage
