i get it, but 9 out 10 when this question pops up, it goes unanswered. like i said there are millions of apps with their own notification icons, so unless it is something popular, it will be very hard for us to know exactly.

also it seems we get this question when the icon has a heart in it. i guess some folks associate that with love and relationships. but also keep in mind that it could also mean health and or fitness as well.

and i'm sorry about your distrust of the other person whose phone we are talking about.

but you never know, you might get lucky and someone will recognize it.

Problem is solved. It was due to DayNight theme which is automatically changing light and dark theme according to system time.

it says it saves it to a folder called "messages". where is that folder?

No you can't. You could remove the card and use an SD card reader instead. Why do you need the SD to have a drive letter? Driver letters is a Windows only thing isn't it? I don't use Windows myself.

so, right now, i've been struggling for a while to get the tablet to show up under fastboot. it just doesn't see it. The tablet is in downloading mode. Any ideas?

I don't know for sure, but the screenshot you posted looks to me like an editor app, like that which you can edit photos.

Perhaps an app such as this has been selected to appear on your lock screen?

Oh, cars from the 90s are certainly good. But I'll tell you this. A friend of mine had a 1995 TrailBlazer. Very nice car. but when the transmission flew, he sweated. I live in Oaxaca, Mexico, and asked around for an Android Wizard. I went to see Alejandro for help doing Googlefier or one of the other methods. I'm 79 and even when I was eighteen I didn't know bupkis about smartphone. Alejandro said he couldn't do it so I am living with my p40 pro without Google Mobile Services. I can manage and now that we have a Chinese agent as president-elect in the U.S. perhaps Huawei will get access to Google again.

These are the WiFi calling instructions for the Verizon S5, but since you're not using Verizon your current carrier might not support it:

  • HD Voice is activated first while in the Verizon wireless coverage area (can't be activated internationally).

  • Calls to international numbers are billed according to your international long distance plan.

Galaxy S5 WiFi Calling:

1. From the Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > Advanced Calling.

2. Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
3. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to turn on or off.
   If activating Wi-Fi Calling for the first time:
   1. Tap Activate Wi-Fi Calling.

      Ensure the Terms & Conditions option is checked.
   3. Enter the emergency location information (E911) address then tap SAVE.
