Lock up

Yup.
Back when we was just startin out with these here gadgets, you used to have to pry the back off of em, then pop out the battery and wait a bit.
Put it back together, and power it back up.

Nowadays, the darn battery wont come out so we alls just smack em on the floor til they straighten out!

How Similar is Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit to J3 Luna?

don't have your phone, but i would gather they are similar for the most part. i do not see an issue.

https://www.phonedog.com/compare/samsung-galaxy-j3-orbit-vs-samsung-galaxy-luna-pro

looks like spec wise the orbit has a slightly better camera.

https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/comparison/1bf5129e04

and according to that comparison, the orbit is on oreo while the luna is on marshmellow. what you will find that over the next few years, the luna will not work with most apps as developers stop supporting older android os. so i would always recommend phones with newer software for longevity sake.

Problems resetting to stock rom - Mi A3

Yes, I had SHRP, but I flashed the stock on the other partition and went to recovery from there because the stock didn't boot.

UPDATE: It's fixed - I was actually sideloading the rom which I think is the wrong way in this situation, so I simply pushed the zip and flashed it in SHRP. It said it had an error, but the phone still booted, but wifi didn't work. Thankfully 4g worked and I was able to download the latest update, and now its fine.

Help What is this app? "-5" used 25% of my battery

I think the real problem is buying xiaomi battery banks. One had the legit verification sticker on it, the other was about half the size and didn't have the sticker, however, they both seemed to cause battery problems. It was mostly fine when I charged it fully a few times on the wall.

I assume that everything is ok if you use the wall charger, which is good news.

I have used battery banks for a number of years now, it was one of the first things I bought when I got my HTC M7 in 2013. I did a lot of hill walking at the time and relied on the navigation apps so the battery life was critical. With the Desire S I carried at least one spare battery.

You do have to be careful with chargers of all types, even wall chargers I have always tried to keep to OE items. The first battery bank I bought was the HTC 6000 Ah unit. I am currently using a Ravpower Extreme 26000Ah unit. Quite heavy but with it's three outputs was an excellent purchase. I use it in the house as well as back up for outside use, and it has been totally reliable.

:)

Had I been Hexed?

Try clearing your cache(s) and then rebooting the phone. Sometimes with updates if old version data is cached it could wreak havoc with the update.
Kinda already said I had it all sorted despite clearing the chaches and rebooting the phone not working and having to go into safe mode to reset the theme that was killing the updated Galaxy apps. This is an advisory, not a request for help. Thanks anyway though.

Root Step by step Root walkthrough for Huawei Fusion 2

links for the recovery are dead. can anyone post a new link?

i know this is old. thanks to anyone who can help :)
I doubt that you will find anybody who still have the file necessary to root your phone. you will find this more and more with older devices. developers only support the file sharing sites for so long as some of those sites require money to be able to share for x amount of time.

Where can I find the "Unnecessary Items" tab?

First, if your phone is giving this message, you have too much on it.

If it is apps, ditch some.
If it is photos and videos, put them onto an SD card.

If you have any social media apps (these tend to be large) xitch them and use your browser for them instead.
This is actually a good idea for amy app that you can use a site for instead.

The files you were deleting with the other device are most likely app caches and log files.

Neither are important.

Most people here wl tell you to stay away from cleaning apps, and I would do the same most of the time.

But there is one that could replicate the actions that you had with your previous device.

When you run it, select just to scan, not clean, so that you can double check what it wants to delete.

Be sure to double check all of the settings, and engage the built in whitelist.

Also, you will need to find out the filepath for any files/folders that come up in the scanning that you do not want cleared, and add them to your whitelist.

It won't delete things important to the device, but you just want to double check to make sure none of your personal files are included in the list.

If they are, then put the filepath into the whitelist.
