Speaking of hacks...

interesting.....indeed.

one only worry about the leaks would be undercover investigations. these files could potentially hold ongoing investigative work and thus putting lives at stake. now i know the police are under fire right now (as they should be), but i do respect the law and the people that work to uphold it. it is only when they think that they are above the law that i do not respect.

am curious if there is some dirt within these files that will show further proof of racsim within the police force......though now that i think about it....do we really need proof by now? haven't we already seen it?

but still i would like to know what are in those files.

turn off phone charging automatically?

i see no need for these type of apps or solutions. lithium-ion batteries are designed to last 3-4 years......so yes in the 3rd and 4th year you will most definitely see a drop in battery life or might have charging issues. however for me, i usually get a new phone by then. this way i can play with my phone any way i please and not have to worry about battery life down the road. all this charging to 50% for 20 minutes or having an app monitor and send an alarm when it gets to a certain battery % is just non sense and a waste of time for me. i am a power user. i use my phone to play games stream and i need it for gps all thru the course of an average work day. at the end of the day all i do is set it on my charger in the evening before i go to bed and go to sleep. i wake the next morning and rinse and repeat.

.....but hey, if it works for you and you do not mind the added worry and stress then be my guess.

How to print to a thermal printer from Android

On PC: it's JUST not that simple.
You can't install the printer driver and send ANY print job.
You have to jump through 10 different hoops
On my PCs, they'd detect the printer, automatically install its drivers, configure it, test it, and be printing in minutes. Of course, my PCs run Linux. :)

As for Android, I have no experience relevant to your situation, but it seems like it should be doable. What about asking manufacturers of various thermal printers how to print from Android? Maybe they have their own apps. You could choose a printer based on its ease of use with Android.

Anyone have a Bluetooth Transmitter?

Search on Ali express, you will find plenty of bluetooth transmitters. There are some which have low latency option and very powerful. Choose your desired ones and they will send it to your country within 1 month. You can choose from a vast variety that is the main purpose of ordering from there. It is a China company and as there are lots of countries who are boycotting their products you should consider that if you order.

Galaxy S20 Unlocked vs. Carrier Version (Verizon)

I was told that VoIP wouldn't work or maybe wouldn't work seamlessly. I'm trying to find out if this is true or would Duo and Voice as default dialer and Google's visual voicemail solve both your issue and my question?

So I can't change the default dialer from Samsung at all. So even with the unlocked I don't think you could use Duo as the default. Though for video it does use Duo.

Printing from USB to Android - how easy?

Printing from Android is going to be a conditional matter, just like with any Windows, Mac, or Linux desktop. If the manufacturer of the printer itself doesn't provide a valid, working driver for their product, the odds it will work with whatever device you have will be a hit-or-miss issue -- i.e. a lot of older HP laser printers will work with using a generic PostScript driver (although just being able to print might not apply to specific features like duplex printing). But most printers are very proprietary and functionally work of off restricted firmware. So even if you can get your Android device to detect your printer, that doesn't necessarily mean it will be able to print from it, things are all based on the printer model and if there's an appropriate driver (and note that with Android the driver/firmware is typically within an app, it's not like you can manually install a driver like with a desktop OS).
