New app for Kids: Learn Fruits and Vegetables

fruits_veggies.jpg

“Fruits and Vegetables”
is a free educational application for kids. It allows to learn and remember the vegetables, fruits, nuts and berries. The app contains 100 items in total. However, the list of fruits and vegetables can be easily customized.

If your child is too small for remembering a large amount of information, then you can remove unnecessary photos in the settings. The application works as a photo gallery. Photos are easily scrolled with your finger. The application also pronounces the name of the fruit or vegetable, so your child easily remembers it.

You can enable the automatic show mode. In this mode, the photos are changed every few seconds until you press the Stop button. Any teaching requires knowledge testing. Our application includes this opportunity: it's a quiz! 4 different photos are displayed, and your kid hears the name of one of these fruits. Your child must give the correct answer by clicking on the photo. After that, the next question is asked.

This quiz cannot be lost, even if sometimes the child is mistaken. In the end, your baby wins anyway. It is very funny and useful! With this free app, your child will learn about fruits and vegetables, learn fruits names. You may be surprised when your kid will show you a fruit that you did not even know about!

Android Key Mapping

Hi all,

I hope this is the right place to find Android gui experts.

I am trying to map some keys to play a game named War Robots on my Android Nvidia Shield TV device but I am struggling with one key but only in 'touchscreen mode'. Unfortunately in 'keyboard mode' the game doesn't seem to operate correctly and the robot turns in circles and you have to press the controller toggle or shake the mouse to make it stop turning whereas in touchscreen mode (i.e. unplug the mouse and keyboard) the turning is perfect but I can't map a button on my controller to trigger firing all weapons.

The firing all weapons button when using a keyboard and mouse is mapped to Left Mouse Click or Shift or funnily enough the pipe symbol '|'.

This is what I have done so far:

1. Installed a keymap app on the Shield
2. Mapped all buttons (X and B controller buttons to Space and 'Q' for other special game properties) and have the 'Fire All' button 'Shift' triggered by the 'A' button on the controller.

When I start the game with the keyboard I test this and all mappings work fine and 'A' does seem to 'Fire All' but as soon as I want to go to touchscreen mode (by unplugging the keyboard and mouse) to get the maneuverability working the 'A' controller button no longer does anything although the other mapped buttons do still work on the controller.

So frustrating that touchscreen mode seems to just stop this one button and I have spent hours at this trying the other buttons that had mapped okay to 'Space and'Q' to the 'Fire All' to get around it but had no luck so maybe there is no way. I am not even sure if this touchscreen mode is unique to War Robots to be honest or it is standard Android.

Anyone know in Android touchscreen mode how to trigger a left mouse click or Shift button press maybe or any ideas for a workaround?

p.s. this techy stuff might help some gurus on here as to how they do things. Struggled with link: developer.android.com/stories/games/war-robots

Thanks

So, waiting for the android 9 update is hopeless.
I bought this as my secondary device on Jan 2020
and actually thought of buying the Samsung M10s or something but I was not satisfied with its quality; so I bought this instead and thought that the android 9 update will roll out soon.

Online-Literature.com

hmm on my kindle and even on my nook apps. i can modify my search of books by price....you will find many of these classics being offered for free as well. i think i have vinctor hugo's les miserable on my nook that i got for free.

this online feature.....though cool as it maybe, seems a tad tedious. the apps are just very easy to access. now if the online site provided downloadable books in formats like epup or pdf then i would be more then happy to jump on board.

Help Connecting Google Drive to Android? Already connected but it's showing two different accounts

From your description it sounds like the 'Files' app has just been inadvertently set up so it's tied to the incorrect Google account. The issue being that while your phone did get linked to your primary Google account whenever you first set it up way back, you can install apps that 'might' link to your primary Google account by default, most of them can be set up to link to whichever online service you prefer -- i.e. if you install an email app you have the option to tie it to a different GMail email and/or other third-party email services, along with your primary Gmail email.
If you look into the settings menu of that Files app itself, are you sure there's no option to change which Google account it links itself to? If not, go into your phone's Settings >> Apps menu, find and open the Files app entry, tap on the Force stop button, and then find and tap on the Clear data button. Using Clear data will wipe the app's setting configuration files, essentially returning the app back to its original, first-time used state. Start up the Files app and it should prompt you with the initial setup process so you can tie it to your primary Google account this time.

Wifi Calling

WiFi Calling typically doesn't require a significant amount of bandwidth (distinguishing it from video WiFi Calling) so that might not even be the problem.
Install this 'WiFi Analyzer (open-source)' app on your phone, it's free with no ads:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrem.wifianalyzer&hl=en_US
Use the app to check the signal strength of your router's effective WiFi signal coverage range. You mentioned being only about 20' away but if there are walls or metal objects (i.e. metal cabinets, A/C ducting, etc.) in between that will reduce coverage significantly. If it's a 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz band connection will add more variables. (5Ghz may provide faster bandwidth but its signal doesn't penetrate obstacles as well and its range is shorter). After you get a basic 'heat map' of your WiFi coverage, do some speed tests at different distances from your router (do the testing while nobody is using your broadband, that can skew results.) Using your phone's web browser app go to
https://fast.com
and tap on Show more info to get Download, Upload (loaded), and Latency numbers. With some real-time data then it's just a matter of comparing basic numbers, instead of relying on guestimates and supposition.
If WiFi signal strength is an issue, you might be able to alleviate the problem with relocating your router so increase it's range:
https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/202...ntific-guide-to-wi-fi-access-point-placement/
Also, what kind of router to you have?
It might be just a matter of changing its configuration settings:

Help Asking for help

I am using Micromax YU Ace running on Android Oreo.I am worried about the app locking apps which cannot hide the inside contents of apps in task manager screen.A locked apps inside contents are clearly visible (preview) in task manager screen. Is there any way to hide it ? If no could you please suggest me any other ways to hide my messages (sms) like otps in task manager screen. Thanks in advance ♥️

My First App

I want to say there's a limitation to prevent non-dialer apps from actually placing outgoing calls (rather than just pasting a number into the default dialer and waiting for the user to press "call"), and I also don't think that apps are able to listen in to the in-call audio - at least not on stock-ish non-rooted Android.

My Files search

I was trying to go back through some older images without all that scrolling. I typed in a particular day, month, and year, but it wouldn't allow slashes ("invalid character"). When I tried again with spaces instead, it claimed to have found nothing. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do I get it to display when the images were taken, instead of or in addition to when they were moved to sd?
are you using a file manager? you should be using google photos as it backs up your photos to the cloud. plus google photos has a nice interface to scroll thru the years of photos that are stored there. i never need to type a year or a specific month. you can scroll thru or skip by sliding your finger on the right to fast scroll thru the years and months very quickly.
