2 and 3 are done by using 3rd party apps, which are from the play store, which is a good thing. I myself use Solid explorer and move most any type of file from one device to the other wirelessly. You can even use Google photos on your mobile device, and access them on your computer just by logging in to your Gmail account

Hi I just switched to a S10+ from a S8+ and I am noticing significant lag when taking pictures. There's at least a quarter second of delay between pressing the shutter button to the phone actually taking a picture. On my S8+ I could rapid fire photos by rapidly pressing the shutter button, it would take photos with zero delay, but on the S10+ it is so slow I can only take a couple of pictures even though I am pressing the shutter button multiple times. This happens even in broad daylight with good light.

I've tried rebooting, turning every AI and HDR feature, clearing camera cache, and there's absolutely no change. I am on the snapdragon version with the latest Android 10 and One UI 2.1 update.

Has anyone had this issue and managed to solve it?

Hi all

I have a Moto G7 and have been experimenting with the notifications. I don't think it's working correctly.

1. Make a noise and pop up.
Makes a sound and pop up banner at top of screen.

2. Make a sound.
No pop up, makes a sound.

3. Show silently.
No pop up, just icon badge.

4. Show silently and minimise.
No pop up, just icon badge.

I presume 3 and 4 should be different, could someone advise what they should do instead?

Most AV apps have some sort of option to wipe the phone and snap a selfie and send it to your email after xx number of unsuccessful password tries. Most also have backup options, in addition to manual options to wipe similar to find my phone, hope that's helpful!

What you're asking should certainly be doable--I do it with my Android devices and Linux computers using KDE Connect. But I don't know, offhand, of an Android app that works like that for two Android devices.

Perhaps someone else will have some ideas.

No, they all will be. If you know what country it was originally sold in that would (unless it's the US, in which case what carrier will be needed as well). But does it not have a label anywhere that gives the model number (I guess I'm the only person who keeps the boxes...).

I basically keep my pixel 3 plugged in and charging while I am driving. I keep it charging because it seems that Bluetooth drains the battery quicker but on the other hand my blue tooth head set can go three days without needing a charge

you should never have 40 tabs open. it can potentially slow down the phone by taking up data and storage space. always bookmark your websites you like. you can even put the bookmarks in named folders for better organization.

Sounds like the manufacturer has locked out third-party launchers. Basically, unless it's rooted and has a suitable custom ROM installed, there's not a lot you can do.

Meaning = This is a bug in Android that has never been fixed.

Are you trying to say that someone interferes with your phone while you are sleeping? Because pattern, PIN, fingerprint, all of those are ways of locking the screen and nothing to do with remote access or malware blocking. So if things happen when using a pattern or PIN but not with fingerprint that implies someone is handling the phone. Have you tried cleaning the screen so that your pattern/PIN isn't visible in the grease?

(But also someone who doesn't know how to force the phone to ask for a password/PIN instead of fingerprint, which is a strange combination of smart and dumb).

Then you should know that you can still change fonts if you want to give the phone a new look. Several Android OEMs packaged extra fonts with their phones in order to try to differentiate themselves from the crowd. Not all provides this choice, however. 3. Scroll down until your find Font Style
4. Pick the font you want and then confirm you want to set it as system font.

An S20 on the other had is a powerful chipset and an impressive device. Perhaps if your looking at an upgrade you might want to wait a few more months for the Note 10/Note 20 (2020). At that price rang you could keep your rooted S7 and buy a pretty decent laptop 4k touch 17 inch...... etc. I guess it a matter of what's more important to you.
One thig is it looks Google has tightend down and the developer of Magisk is struggling to keep Magisk hide and pass saftynet pass successful. Google now check for an unlocked bootloader and that the recent update properly uses SafetyNet's key attestation API that remotely verifies a device's security status.
Freaking Google If you choose root be willing to give up Google Pay, banking apps, Netflix, pockmon etc. I'd rather watch Netfix on the big screeen tv, use credit cards thhan give up root, but thats just me

What you're looking for is the Chromecast option to cast your video to the TV. You need to be connected to the same WiFi network as your Chromecast to make this work. It's possible (and perhaps likely) that the "broadcast to tv" option appearing and disappearing is based on when you are and are not connected to your WiFi network.

Here is a list of things to try:

• Make sure you are connected to the same WiFi as your Chromecast
• Clear the cache of your Google Home app
• Uninstall and Reinstall the Google Home app

If none of these options work can you share with us what type of Smart TV you have or if you're using a physical Chromecast connected via HDMI? If you were able to fix it can you let us know what you did to help others?
