Kingroot

Please how can I root my phone which is Tecno LB7
not sure why you want to......there is no dev community to support your device.

but i did find this:
https://techzbyte.net/2019/10/twrp-for-tecno-pouvoir-3-lb7.html

please read the guide fully before attempting to root. and once you get a custom recovery make sure you make a nandroid backup. make a copy of the backup and save it someplace safe on your computer. this way if something bad happens to your phone, as long as you have your recovery, you can always restore your backup.

How To How to Create and Access Secure Folders

The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a feature called "Secure Folders" that let you keep private apps and files in a folder that can only be accessed with a special pass code. You can set the pass code to be a PIN number, pattern, password, or fingerprint.

Follow these steps to create a Secure Folder on the Galaxy S20 Ultra:
  • Open Settings
  • Tap "Biometrics and Security"
  • Tap "Secure Folder"
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions
  • Use fingerprint unlock or your account password to proceed
  • Choose what methods can unlock your secure folder
  • Tap "Next" and Confirm your preferred pass code
You can choose your own name and icon for the secured folder by pressing the 3 dots in the top right. Once this is complete your Secure Folder will be added to your Home Screen or you can find it in the full app list by browsing to "Secure Folder" (or whatever custom folder name you provided)

The Secure Folder will automatically lock the next time your screen times out. If you want to lock your folder immediately, you can tap the 3 dots at the top right of the Secure Folder and select "Lock and Exit". Alternatively in the Secure Folder settings you can select "Auto Lock Secure Folder" and choose how often it locks (ranging from immediately to 5/10/30 minutes to when the phone restarts).

How to Access a Secure Folder on the Galaxy S20 Ultra:
There are two ways to open a Secure Folder on the Galaxy S20 Ultra:
  1. Using the pass code with which you created the Secure Folder
  2. Resetting the Secure Folder lock by signing into your Samsung Account
To do the latter you can simply incorrectly enter your Secure Folder pass code and then choose "Reset". You'll be prompted for your Samsung Pass account password or your biometric fingerprint unlock.

How To How to Scan QR Code

The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a barcode scanner built directly into the camera software. There is nothing special you need to do!

To scan a QR code with the Galaxy S20:
  • Open the Camera App
  • Point and focus on QR Code
The camera app will immediately identify the QR code, indicate what it is and where it will take you, and give you the option to tap to view the full details or visit the related website.

You will also find "Scan QR Code" as an option in Quick Settings. Be advised that this does nothing special except launch the camera in photo mode so that you can scan the QR code just like above.

Scan a barcode with the Galaxy S20 Ultra:

If you'd also like to scan barcodes and other things besides QR Codes with the Galaxy S20 Ultra you may want to download a 3rd party app such as the perennial favorite "Barcode Scanner" by ZXing Team.

Just trying the app myself

I don't know why I'm getting all the blame for this.
You look guilty
Good idea. I just brought a wireless Seneo charger to work from the pair I got. I'm getting fast wireless charging using an OEM Pixel 3a cord and Cheotech USB-C charging block. Go figure :p
The Seneo is super picky. Didn't like the ANker 30ws, but likes the 45w.

And NONE actually do 15w, or atleast, when I plug in the Samsung, it shows a much lower time to battery full. Which tells me all the others are only doing 10w. Hopefully the app clears this up for me since all should be able to do 15w.

Help Making voice calls via Jabra 30 Talk Bluetooth.

It was basically going to google search, However I ran Google Assistant again, and it now works. Thanks for the replies, and how to I mark thread as solved.

Henry

Marked it for you. Google sometimes makes it confusing whether you are activating Google voice search and assistant. I think it is silly, but there you have it. Once you set up assistant, IMO, it should supersede all google voice prompts. But I don't think it does.

Android Studio - no Internet connectivity when using "run-as"

Hi -
I am creating an app using Android Studio on my MacBook and need Internet connectivity. When I start up Studio, then install my app which starts up the emulator, then "adb shell" from my MacBook terminal. At this point I have Internet connectivity in that I can do "ping abcnews.go.com" and get packages back. However, when I do "adb shell", then "run-as com.example.myapplication", I find that "ping abcnews.go.com" no longer works. (note: I need to do "run-as ..." in order to have chmod capability). I will add that a search online showed that if I start my emulator up with "emulator -avd Pixel_3a_XL_API_29 -dns-server 8.8.8.8", it gives me Internet capability, even after starting "run-as ...", however, this makes me go through a "...r.cloudfront.net" server which looks to be an AWS server. So I'm wondering why I lose Internet connectivity after starting "run-as ..." in adb shell? I'd rather not go through that AWS server if I don't have to. TIA for any information anyone can provide on this.

Calls

well you can put the phone in safe mode which prevents 3rd party apps from running. this will help to determine whether an app is causing your issue.

you can also do a factory reset and see if that helps. if that does not work then you might have a hardware issue and you might need to take the phone in to your carrier.

Google Messages - Issue with MMS images S10 on AT&T to iPhone 11 on Verizon

Do regular text messages (SMS) go through in a timely manner and it's just MMS messages that are a problem? Or are both a problem?

If the latter, the problem would appear to more with some kind of carrier issue (i.e. how your messages are being transferred between AT&T and Verizon) than your phone or the Google Messages app.
If the former, it might not be a matter of messing with your phone so much a matter of Google's push to have its own RCS protocol take the place of SMS/MMS. Granted both SMS and MMS are very dated protocols and because of that are not able to keep up with current technology but at this point they are still the only two standards that all text messaging services still include at least some support for. The problem being Apple has made it clear about not allowing its iMessage platform to support RCS so that goes back the issue of SMS/MMS still being the tenuous link between Android and iPhone users. It could just be some carrier-based glitch issue with on-the-fly file conversion of the attached file.
If there's an option to disable RCS in the Google Messages app try that, or think about switching to a different texting messaging app that isn't forcing one to always use RCS
