Could you please post your source(s) that can actually confirm what you're stating is true.
Theoretically if you have some very serious technical and engineering skills along with a lot of very pricey equipment that can manipulate microprocessors on a very low level, than yes, any phone can be 'hacked' but essentially most of us are only able to work with our gadgetry on a pretty superficial level. Some phones are relatively easy to crack, but most aren't.

Even in the US, the Moto RAZR will probably be available unlocked so you can use it on another carrier.

Several other Moto phones have been a "Verizon Exclusive" but can also be bought unlocked for other networks.

We've got forums for Motorola One Action and Motorola One Vision but not for the Motorola One Hyper. I guess that means we haven't had a request to create the forum either... but it looks like a pretty solid phone at a pretty attractive price point. I know there are some Moto lovers out there... what gives?

It appears well built. Only time and use will tell us how durable. I still love the idea.

Is it truly worth 1600 or so USD. I will wait a month to see relativity and if its a pixel camera killer. I am a lifelong note owner. a plus owner now.
upgraded in August and it must be superior to end lease early to upgrade 2xs in less than a year to go for it. I dont anymore pay all out and lease once they hit 1000 and higher.

The Motorola RAZR isn't your average Android Phone thanks to its nostalgic flip. That means regular cases won't work- Motorola had to go back to the flip phone drawing board. The result: the Razr Sleeve.

The Razr Sleeve is basically the only officially supported Motorola Razr case and it'll set you back $100. Considering the phone is $1500 itself- that's nuts. But we can't say we're surprised.



This is how Motorola officially describes it:

The only color available color is Black but we expect that to change after the device's launch. It remains to be seen if other popular cases by the likes of Spigen, Otterbox, and Incipio. You can bet your bottom dollar they'll have specialized screen protectors as well... but if you already forked out $1600 for the phone and a case, we're guessing a $50 screen protector won't be your bottom dollar.

Same here. I do not use my google drive at all either. Mostly dropbox.

Just install the app, then go into your Settings >> Apps menu, find and open the entry for that app, tap on 'Force stop' if it is still running, and then find the Clear data button and tap on that. Using Clear data removes that app's configuration and settings files, along with its cache. With some apps, using just the Uninstall button removes most of the app but not necessarily its settings. Clear data 'should remove it all. You need to install the app just to access that 'Clear data' option.
And don't forge to just restart your Note 8 afterwards, just to be sure anything relative to that app lurking in RAM is wiped.

I have tried to do the same with a Galaxy Note 4 on 5.0 MM. I partitioned my external sd card in three. one of which was for expanding ram. The other was for link2sd and apps2sd.
I tryed 2Gb ram but no matter what I tried to do it I only got 1Gb of additional ram.

Yes, it should be that some resource files which would be downloaded online while the app initializes are unavailable now.

I am using Pixel Experience Rom on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with 64 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM. I wanted to run heavy games like PUBG on HD Graphics with High Frame rate on this device.
As obvious the game was lagging with that setting. So I installed Roehsoft Ram expander to get additional 4 GB of Virtual RAM. When I chose the option to create a Swap File of 4 GB in Roehsoft RAM expander it said 'Kernel Swap Space Limit detected! Please reduce the Swapfile Size lower 1GB! and try
again! ' I thought flashing a custom kernel like Franco Kernel would solve this problem but it didn't changed anything .

Anyone have any idea to Bypass this Swap Space limit ?

Creating a LinearLayout programmatically involves calling something like

myLinearLayout.setLayoutParams(new LinearLayout.LayoutParams(LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT));

But even though this custom layout is extended from LinerLayout, it has declared it's version of LayoutParams as private (inside PhysicsLinerlayout.java), so I cannot call the setLayoutParams() function for this custom layout. How can I create an instance of this custom layout programmatically in this case?

You're most likely to get help with this by posting on our Android Development board.

Did you have any kind of lock screen (iris scan, fingerprint, passcode, etc.) set up? If so, it's very unlikely your phone was actually compromised in some way. If you didn't however, yeah you should reset the passwords to all your online services and do a Factory Reset on your phone.

A lock screen is generally pretty effective, there's a lot of scary, reactionary claims that smartphones can be readily hacked into but most of the general population, anyone who might have randomly picked up your phone, won't be able to get past it (unless you use something like a simple password like 1234 that's easily guessed). If you are being targeted by law enforcement or a government agency however, dump that phone now.

Where did you lose this phone and were did you find it?
