SMS message font size

Check the message app's own settings, just in case there is an option to change the font size.

Otherwise just install a different message app. Textra, recommended above, is quick, we'll-featured and far more customisable than the stock app, and definitely does let you change the font size. But there are many others if you prefer something else.

Is there a way to rearrange notifications at the top of your phone?

So I just uninstalled that sound profile app. That one had two weird issues.... it always appearing at the bottom of the notifications and... when I'm at work, I listen to music all day using bluetooth headphones. Some reason my phone at random times the volume cranks up to max volume about blowing my ears out. Only thing I can think that is causing the problem is the sound profile and it's the only thing that has changed since the problem started.

Well, I tried the fix that support sent me about how to fix the old sound profile app and it appears it worked. Its controlling the volume correctly now. Well have to see if that issue where it cranks my volume max volume stops using my old sound profile app.

But on my old phone, the old sound profile app was always the first entry in notifications. On this Note 10+, it's not the top entry anymore, the same as the other sound profile app. So, it's just weird. Still would be nice for it to be always the first entry.

Media sound stops but controls still continue when a notification is received

Maybe an update to your e-mail app/service or the app that links the devices?

Just throwing that against the wall.

Why is the link between your devices so important?
At this point, I would search for a different app, or even turn sync off for one device or the other.

If sharing files is what you need, then there are other apps that use Wi-Fi as a link and probably won't have this issue, so long as the notifications are off.

Another option is to use the Do Not Disturb setting on your phone. With this you can severely limit the apps that can send notifications.

You could use this mode when listening to music.

Please help

I have been trying unsuccessfully to recover a set of text messages that were deleted off of my phone in error. I have tried to recover them through the phone itself, but it is not working. Can someone offer some advise on how to deal with the carrier to have the messages recovered? Also I have seen a huge variance in how long the information is stored on the servers. Does anyone have any knowledge of that either? I appreciate anyone's assistance in helping get through all of the issues that I have been having.
sorry but i wish i had better news, but once they are deleted there is not much you can do to recover the text messages. also be very careful with what you find on the internet. there are plenty of sites that claim their software can recover text messages. but a good many of them are scams. this is why if you have important text messages that you back them up. i have a samsung phone and they have a program called smart switch that allows you to backup such items. i do this maybe once or twice a month. not sure what phone you have, but most manufacturers like samsung should have something similar.
