LGV20 Not Booting, Internal Memory Recovery

Wish I could provide you with assistance but Im mot familiar with LG20's but it sounds like a hardware issue. Your Pc/Mac dose not recognized the device make it all the worse. I can speak from personal experience with a Note 4 softbrick that I spent hours and hourse and hours..... trying to fix. I spent more time that the phone was worth, not to mention all the frustration. A few years later in trying to assist a fellIw Note 4 memer on XDA, I came across a .no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip 6.1 and provided ithe link in the post. Afterwards, I decided to flash it to my old Note via TWRP. I now have 3 working Note 4's lol.

Image size issue

I'm trying to develop my first app for the play store which should resize for different screen sizes/resolutions. For some reason the spinner images are showing up extremely small for mdpi virtual device & huawei 9 on firebase. Please see attached file. The other images are very large currently because I removed the ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi and xxhdpi folders to see how it would appear with just xxhdpi images.
Any ideas why the images would appear so tiny!

How can I record a phone conversation while having headphones plugged in?

OK so this probably is not the most simple solution to your query but being a headphone jack fan I've used it several times as an effective way to record audio from my phones. Using a very common 3.5mm audio cable, like this:
audio_cable.jpg
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16882021054?Description=audio cable&cm_re=audio_cable-_-82-021-054-_-Product

and an audio splitter adapter like this:
audio_splitter.jpg
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E168820...21-055-_-1&Description=audio+adapter+splitter

it's then just a matter of plugging the audio-in plug end of the adapter into the phone headphone jack, and then plug a headphone into one of the audio-out ports of the adapter and the audio cable into the other audio-out port. The other plug of the audio cable gets plugged into the audio-in port of a desktop or laptop. Using Audacity, a free, Open Source audio editor available for Linux, Windows, and Mac to record the audio signal from the phone you also have the ability to do things like slow down or amplify conversations.

So yeah, this isn't a simple solution and it requires a lot of extras, but things like the cable and splitter adapter only cost a total of less than $5.
Hopefully someone will chime in with a more simplistic solution involving just an app on your phone.
(.... and just a caveat, recording live conversations without the other persons consent may bring up privacy issues related to local wiretapping laws)

Android phones not opening videos send from iOS

We are developing a music app and the ios version can open videos sent from android but not all androids can open iOS.

All have 9.0 android

Specifically, the google pixel 3 can open them but the Samsung GALAXY S9 and S10 cannot.

Those same phones can also only upload smaller photos to our video feature and rejects larger photos but can accept larger photos for profile image.

Is anyone aware of an issue for Samsung galaxy android devices why they wouldnt be able to open a video rendered into mp4 format on an iOS phone?

From what I understand, the OS matters for the coding but the hardware can effect as well.

S9 is verizon, s10 and pixel 3 are tmobile phones and both ios phones (xs max and 6 plus) are on verizon.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might have some idea.

Help My droid box wont load any movies/tv shows

Thanks for the info. Did anything out of the ordinary happen around the time it stopped working? A power outage, a system update, anything? Have you tried unplugging it, waiting ≈15 seconds, and plugging it back in?[
Nothing happened the tv shows just stopped coming up. Have unplugged several times even left it for hours before plugging it back in and still no difference.

How to set the notification badge count programatically without sending notification?

I want to change the notification badge count, say, whenever the user clicks on a button. At the moment, the only way I know to change the notification badge count is by sending a notification like so:

Java:
Notification notification = new NotificationCompat.Builder(MainActivity.this, CHANNEL_ID)
        .setContentTitle("New Messages")
        .setContentText("You've received 3 new messages.")
        .setSmallIcon(R.drawable.ic_notify_status)
        .setNumber(messageCount)
        .build();

I could technically send a notification every time the user presses the button, but that'd clutter the notification panel (as the goal here is to just change the badge count). So, is there anyway I can change the notification badge count without sending a notification?
