Honor have released a security patch for their latest and greatest, fold phone the Magic V6 Global model.

This appears to be an interim update whilst the phone is currently undergoing beta testing of their MagicOS 11, (Android 17), firmware.

I reluctantly upgraded my 2 year old vivo X Fold3 Pro about a month ago as the Honor Magic V6, (Global), offers a bigger battery, (6660 mAh), battery with fast charging, (80W/66W wireless), and stylus support on both inner and outer screens with the latest Qualcomm SM8850-AC Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm) chip all at £1,499, (inc 20% tax), which is around £500 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in the U.K.

So far I am finding this a worthy successor to the vivo X Fold3 Pro which was outstanding enough for me to hold on to for 2 years as it was so far advanced.

I have just installed a new security camera.
At night I have my mobile on 'Do not disturb' but I want to be alerted by my security camera.
I long pressed the security camera app which shows some options.
If I click on notifications>notification categories>other
Under 'Alarms' and 'Miscellaneous' I set all to 'Override Do Not Disturb'.
I still don't get an alarm from the security camera.
What other settings are there to get this to work?

Occasionally there is a lot of liquid on the kitchen floor. I was trying to blame it on melting ice cubes, but I'm not that sure. It happened again this morning. Also the gasket on the main compartment is beyond loose. Besides getting a new fridge, what can I do?

Suddenly the camera isn't saving to sd. It say it's corrupted. I shut the phone down and rebooted but I have the same problem. Is it safe to take the card out and maybe check it? How can I tell if it's really bad or just the overstuffed phone causing trouble?

Am I the only one, but do you all eat the paper wrappers of muffins, cupcakes, basically anything that has the cupcake wrapper around it?

I have done a complete reset on my windows 10 pc, and I want to put my pictures back on. I backed up documents, bookmarks. but omitted to backup pictures. They are all stored on Cloud. but a lot have gone missing on my phone. I have tried to transfer them back to my phone. but it will not let me download. I have clicked on the three dots, and it does not say anything about downloading. If I can get them back on my phone I can then transfer them to my pc.

Hello. I use Oto Player music app and after years of enjoyment from it, last night it stopped working. I had uploaded some music from my computer to my phone with a new playlist and everything seemed to be going normally until I went to download an album cover image for one of my playlists. After I downloaded the image, I noticed that all my playlists were no longer in the player and I got a strange error message that said "Playlist shared by other apps via Android's media storage framework." However, I don't even know what that means.

Also, I checked My Files app and my Google Files SD card app and most of my music files are no longer there. None of this makes sense and I was wondering if anyone has any idea about what is going on with this.

How do we prevent their lockdown of OUR phones? There is a website, keepandroidopen.org, but I'm not sure how helpful it is. Developers can resist, I suppise. How the can the rest of us foil them?

Cant seem to find anything on this cause old steps dont work.....any help?

I was surprised by the gift of a Moto G 2026. My benefactor realized too late...no receipt. I went back to the Cricket store and the salesperson said that they never do that physically and anyway the printer was broken but may be fixed tomorrow. I at last managed to get a sticky note out of her, unsigned, with only gueestimates as to time and such. Isn't there a way to obtain a more formal version? Meanwhile, I found a couple of reviews, one more enthusiatic than the other, and some specs but I don't know if it can handle a terabyte (or more) sd. Who has had some experience with this particular model?

A54 on MetroPCS: Beginning today, forced to use Google Messages BUT Samsung Messages looks better and announces when the SMS has been delivered. Thank uni, Samsung.

Is there any way to force these phones to use Samsung messages? Or second best, have Google Messages show when the message is delivered?

In other words, Happy Independence Day. 250 years is quite a span of time. I well remember the Bicentennial 50 years ago. I was married and had a one year old daughter. I doubt I get to celebrate 50 years from now. We aren't doing much this weekend. I plan to grill out some chicken and laze tomorrow. Sunday we are going to the cabin to hang out with some friends. I hope you have some fun stuff and good eats planned. Be careful and be grateful that with all of the endless turmoil of this country of ours, we continue to be a united set of states and our overall direction has been positive for 250 years.

I power down my moto g 2025 when I try to power on it just keeps looping. I've tried the root menu holding power and volume up at same time I get the menu picked what I need but it just goes right back to fu_ _ ingredients looping!!!! HELP!!!!¡

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. I was fortunate to have four children to call me dad.
It has been a wonderful experience. I also was lucky to have a great father. He was not the loving or playing with sort of father. He was a great example of high morals and hard working, faithful, honest, and fair man. I've tried to model myself after him and will always be grateful he was an excellent teacher without teaching.

What is the best option, preferably without goo? It's been lost maybe a couple of days. It's a Samsung on Cricket.

A space strategy game with tower defense elements, where you build and expand a base made of platforms, manage units, and defend against waves of enemies.

You start with a small base and gradually expand it by constructing new platforms and connecting them together. Units are placed on these platforms and can move between them, perform various tasks, gather resources, build new structures, and defend the base.

Your main goal is to collect the required amount of resources and survive enemy attacks. Your base will be targeted by meteors and raider ships. They can attack both platforms and units, so you must carefully manage resources, build defenses, and control your units to survive.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20. Sometimes, when I receive a text message, it requires a download which says "No subject." When I click the message, it appears to be downloading but eventually it errors out. I think this has to do with receiving messages over a certain character limit. I tried clearing the cache in the Text Message app and I still can't download these text messages.

How can I enable downloading?
