hey guys i got twrp v2.7.1.1 on my opo a few years ago, i tried putting a new os just to mess with rooting. i followed an outdated video on it (not sure which video) and didnt think much of it. at the same time i thought it would work just fine and deleted the original os in the progress without backing it up. so question is, can i somehow place the original os or new os in the phone? i would need any and all details to do so as i sinec deleted everything since then, or if anyone could refer to me to a place that could help like a page, discord, anything that'd be cool if nothing can be done no worries ill probably trash it if thats the case. either way thanks for any help in advance!

Hi there. Today I needed to put a lock screen onto my Samsung Galaxy A10 phone so I can view one of my passwords saved on google. After I finished viewing that password, I turned off the lock screen. After that happened, the lock screen still remained, but the password I put in didn't work. I can no longer access my device because it has a lock screen without a password and I don't want to perform a factory reset until I know that there are absolutely 100% no other solutions that don't cost extra money. I have tried multiple options given by googling, all of which didn't work, gave unclear instructions, or cost money.

I have been able to have music play from my phones music folder when simply connected to my trucks Sync-3 system via USB. However, once I setup Android Auto on the phone, and used the Android Auto of Sync-3, while I gained all the functionality of MAPS, Contacts, Messages, etc., BUT seem to have lost the ability to simply play music that's stored on the phones music-folder. I can play music from various music services, but not the pre-stored music on the phone.

Does anyone know how I might be able to include the capability of playing music from the phones music-folder using the Android Auto APP?

Whenever I'm on a call, I can't unlock my screen and use it. This means I am reliant on the other person to hang up so I can continue to use my phone - and this is impossible with an automatic greeting.

I have looked around and thought I might have to look in Device and Call Settings but this section is blank when I open it.

The last piece of confusion is that I ordered a Blackview A70, and "Blackview" is written on the back of the phone. While this isn't available in the dropdown when choosing the device as part of making this post, the phone is identical with the Samsung A70 displayed.

Would really appreciate help on this.

I had this Huawei P8 Lite laying around and I decided trying to factory reset it to start using it as a backup phone. Hi, I'm new here and I made an account to see if anyone could help me troubleshoot this.

I have a 1.5 yr old Moto g 7 play. I have Republic Wireless (I'm planning on switching to Red Pocket, but I'm assuming this is a phone / Android issue and not a carrier issue).

I've been having problems with my phone for the last few weeks. It 1) randomly restarts itself and 2) various apps crash (and I get the popup asking if I want to wait or close the app- when this happens, I sometimes can't even close the app or its not even the app I'm using, and I need to restart the phone).

I've done THREE factory resets in the past couple weeks. It seems OK on safe mode (although maybe I'm not giving it enough time on safe mode to see if it will crash?). Last time, after the factory reset, I tried to troubleshoot it by adding apps back on slowly. It did seem better at first, but I cannot seem to figure out what app or process is causing the problem. I thought maybe it was Google apps or the Android Web viewer thing. I tried uninstalling updates of those, I tried installing all the updates. It seems to have problems when I add a variety off apps back on. Like, I think its ok so I add a couple more apps, then it starts having problems. So I take those off. But when I add on other, different apps, it starts having problems again.

It is on Android version 10 and says there are no updates.

Not really sure what to do next. Do I have to take everything off and add the apps on one at at time? What if its not a 3rd party app but an update of a stock app?

Since my phone (oneplus 7) did a system upgrade to Android 11 a month or two ago, I have noticed that any time I start a music player, it'll run for five or ten minutes, and then just stop, and it doesn't matter which player, this happens on Pi, VLC, and Simple Player, playing locally stored music files. The app doesn't crash, the music just stops, the play / pause button has reverted back to the stopped state. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

I created a new account in my Android S8 and calendar events from Jan 31 and sooner show up in my phone but no events before Jan 31 show up. I created a new account in my Outlook desktop and all of the events show up properly.\

I have installed Android Studio in a new laptop, and now I cannot get AVD to work. When I try to run a device, I get a message

Code:

"The emulator process for AVD <AVD-name> was killed"

immediately after launching the device. I have tried with API 29 and 30. I have installed the following tools


If I try to run the emulator by command line I get:


I think everything is the same as what I had in the other laptop, expect in this one I am using HAXM. But if I unistall HAXM, I cannot launch a device in AVD, and I have to install it again. I don't know if it is related to the issue.

Any ideas?
