HTC Incredible VS. Droid X

I do have call quality issues in general. Signal is good to very good but I have had a few issues with call quality. Keep in mind I use this phone 2500+ minutes per month. I am coming from AT&T so it is definitely an upgrade for me.

I really like the Incredible and new Droid X specs and if they had a front facing camera, I would probably be getting the X, but for now I will probably be waiting. I'm thinking by year end there will definitely be even more new Droids that will have a Front facing camera and maybe better screen resolution (not necessarily size) with even faster processors. If the iPhone is also an option to choose from then, even better, but if not I'd be happy to choose a Droid instead at that time.

That just looks like another rumor to me, I have saw a thousand or so of them in the last couple of years.

Yes, nothing new about rumors of this type. But I assume what this refers to is the rumored iPhone that will use Verizon's upcoming LTE technology. But Verizon will not finish converting its network to LTE for several years, so even if there's something behind this rumor don't expect everything to be in place all at once.

For me, I'm enjoying the Inc so much right now that I don't even care about seeing a Verizon iPhone. Battery life aside, that is; that seems to be the Inc's main drawback.

All joking aside. I would like a screen that big, but not LCD, not after having been exposed to AMOLED. It's the colors, man, THE COLORS!

I know there is no official announcement from VZW, but LTE might come sooner to some markets.

I really think the lag in the home screens talked about in reviews is being caused by that droid x eye live wallpaper. Something about that live wallpaper is buggy and literally every video I've seen they were using it. I put it on my incredible and it almost made it unusable. I mean it was really bad. I have the mario live wallpaper on now and its great on battery and running smoothly at 15 fps. Irrelevant, I know.

I posted a thread about this, since HTC and Verizon report there is a call quality problem that they are working on fixing, with a software update.

even though my inc can't seem to do anything else right... the droid x eye wallpaper runs flawlessly
 
I ordered my DInc on 6/20, and found out a few days ago that I may be able to change my order to receive the Droid X. I've never been a fan of Motorola's UI, but I love HTC's Sense UI. Is the Droid X going to be that much better of a device for me to miss out on using Sense on the Incredible?

I am in dire need of some serious pro vs. con action between these two devices. Can anyone help me out?
 
The X is said to include a personal shaver and the Incredible makes as a great vacuum as it likes to collect dust under the screen.
 
It's going to come down to size. It is almost bigger than the EVO. Go try one on for size. If it's too big, then the X will be way too big.

This would be the most important aspect to me - they are both fast as hell and both are getting 2.2 froyo. Not many differences - unless you are in dire need of a marginally better video camera.

We should convince as many people as possible to switch to the X pulling them out of the cue for the DInc and move up our delivery dates

If you want the bigger screen go for droid x. Also, it probably won't have the voice quality issues the inc has reported, but supposedly a fix is on the way for that.

I will be returning my Inc for a couple reasons. First of all I love it and its a great phone but I am really interested in the bigger screen, hopefully better camera, much better battery life, better processor, and physical buttons. Oh and also the 3 microphones it has.
 
you know youre in the incredible forum asking this shit right? what response do you expect? when i had an eris everyone and their mom was asking if they should get the incredible and if it was better. "umm no the incredible isn't better it just was newer and twice as much the cost to mess with you." do some research and decide yourself. the moto x is bigger and newer, i personally think its better and if i had to choose i would get it over the incredible. theirs a million people, especially in THIS forum that will say "blah blah incredible is better" "htc > moto" "this screen rapes that screen" whatever. it's a mother****ing phone. STFU with these what phone is better shit.

a moderator can warn/ban me for my language if i'm breaking rules. but god damn if you get offended by swears GTFO the interweb.
