Make sure you have EVERYTHING before you get on the plane. Don't want to be stuck in the air without a file so you cant finish what your doing. I've been there it's very upsetting.
 
I love the look of this ROM. But it was slow for me. I know many have said it is "lightning" fast, but not for me. I was also unable to change the wallpaper.
 
I overclocked and now my phone freezes immediately after booting up. Is there a way I can uninstall setCPU when I plug the phone into my PC? I do NOT want to wipe again. I'm sick of doing that. I'm almost positive that since setCPU is set on boot that it is the cause of my phone freezing. Please help, I don't want to wipe.

why dont you want to wipe?? it keeps you clean
 
adb remount
cd sd-ext/app
ls

That will list all the files. Just find which one is set CPU. It's like muhung overclock or something.
Then
rm -r *the filename you just found

You will need to re install set CPU after that though

Sorry guys, been working on that kitchen and havent really checked in a whole lot.
Pacedrum...it sounds like you just have ALL the problems. Either your full of crap :p or your just really unlucky. Try a reflash.


For people having issues with MMS, you need to use Handcent. it doesnt ALWAYS work, but it usually does. With Handcent you have MOSTLY working mms, without it i can guarantee that you will have way more lol
 
no issues with handcent here. sometimes it won't download one right away, but it will eventually.

i am getting a bad lag on my keyboard when texting though. not really sure what to do about it

what about sending MMS; any issues for you there?

I switched to Swype for my keyboard. I forgot how much I missed it!

I had an MMS send fail me last night. It was a pic that I had just taken with the camera. I am going to test different scenarios for sending MMS to see if there is a difference between sending a pic already on the SD card in a different location vs. sending one that I took with the phone's camera.
 
I haven't had any issues with sending MMS but have seen issues with a few different Cyanogen set ups. This was posted by Conap over at XDA for his rom, but maybe it would work with this one. Do a Nand Backup first just to be on the safe side, but I really wouldn't think this would cause any issues. It should either work or not, and not break anything important...

Once there - look for the Cyanogen 2.5 MMS fix.

As far as the messages going through both stock and Handcent, there are a couple of ways. Go to Settings > Manage Applications > Message App > Clear Defaults. Then go to send a message and it should ask you which one you want to use, make sure you check the button that asks if you want this app to be used as default. Or, you can just delete the stock app. Use something like Titanium BackUp so you still have it if you want it.

I'm having a strange problem. After flashing this ROM last night, when I answer calls, people cannot hear me. I've also tried making outgoing calls, and they can't hear me either. Suggestions?

no problems sending mms.

i don't like swype. but i just wiped everything, reflashed the rom, and just kept the vanilla keyboard instead of installing the htc_ime mod keyboard.
