you can try it w/o a wipe. Dalvik wipe is FOR SURE needed, but if your prefer not wiping data and needing to reset all your stuff, go ahead. just make a nand backup first in case something goes wrong.

Awesome, I was just about to try the APN swap today... I'll wait to see what you come up with. Is it gonna be a small flashable package, or a new version of the ROM?

Thanks to skumar26 for pointing this out... you can hold the trackball and press the volume-down button to get the screen to come back on.

If you recover then uncover the prox sensor does it activate the screen ?

Nope... the only way to get the screen back on is to end the call or press the trackball & volume-down together. I haven't found any other way.

My Handcent works fine with everything except sending MMS... I can receive pics, but can't send them... it just sits there forever with that little circle spinning, but never does anything.

Alright, I just tried flashing the mms-fix.zip via recovery, and I get "E:Can't open /sdcard/mms-fix.zip (bad)" and installation aborted.

I am just having terrible luck today, lol...
