looks like conap got a fix from decadence for stock mms. let me look at it and we will have a fix soon.
Awesome, I was just about to try the APN swap today... I'll wait to see what you come up with. Is it gonna be a small flashable package, or a new version of the ROM?
Also I'll post here now about the proximity sensor since the thread is unlocked:
http://androidforums.com/all-things...-widow-proximity-sensor-not-working-call.html
Thanks to skumar26 for pointing this out... you can hold the trackball and press the volume-down button to get the screen to come back on.
If you recover then uncover the prox sensor does it activate the screen ?
Nope... the only way to get the screen back on is to end the call or press the trackball & volume-down together. I haven't found any other way.
its the kernel. check the first page. its red letters.
Check the Patches section for info on how to get MMS working with the STOCK messaging app. All thanks to Conap and Dec3dance!
yes it will
and!
booo... Am I supposed to do anything special before flashing it?
Hmm, no luck with flashing conap's zip... Installation aborted due to "No signature" and "Verification failed"booo... Am I supposed to do anything special before flashing it?
Thanks for the link to the MMS fix, trying that one next. I wish Handcent would work, but I guess a functioning stock app is better than non-functioning Handcent![]()
you dont flash that zip, follow the instructions in the posts.

For someone that is having relatively no issues, is it a good idea to use the new kernel?
