Here's my videos and my first forum post!
Yep, that's about what I've been seeing.
Welcome, thanks for sharing.
It's seeming like these phones will do fine in a pinch for video recording. Wayyy better than it was before, that's for sure. Lighting adjustments kinda suck, especially outside going from shadows to light and such. Wouldn't use it to record my daughter's wedding, but just to catch something cool when I'm out and about.
Some people are still going to flame the quality though, not taking it for what it really is...I mean really, it's just another awesome feature on an Incredible phone.
Anyone know why Youtube keeps downgrading my video? I uploaded it as 720p.
Edit:
nevermind.
YouTube - Droid Incredible 720p Video

The one with the crazy ass socks. It was 'crazy sock' day.
Anyway, this is her third class, and by far the youngest, so cut her a break![]()
very nice bro, Good question, I don't know. I doubt it, without some better mics.

Some amazing videos......so now that we have 720p which is better? EVO or DInc? Jk i'm not going there!![]()
The other phones....care to be just a wee bit more specific?
That said, I've little doubt that Froyo will resolve a lot of the framerate issues.
How come you didn't provide any Galaxy S or Droid X examples?

lol..At 0:55 they do the yoga chair pose... Just thought I'd throw that out therelol..

Why does everyone think Froyo will magically fix all the problems/issues? The camera is a vendor specific implementation. Each company uses different sensors and codecs. Our HTC phone's cam is capable of great things. It is up to HTC to pony up the licenses and pay the right company to write the software for their cameras.
There are a few scattered around this and various boards. From the quality I've seen (I check for exposure and motion), they're ok. However, I don't really care to bookmark people's videos of their dogs and backyard. I saw a few Droid X vids that had excellent exposure and metering on the Droid X forum.
I normally check out cam quality on vimeo. I see what and how people can push cheap cameras/dslr creatively. The 1st video is good because it shows rapid exposure changes at night; something difficult to do. Unfortunately, nobody on any of the digicam/editing/hollywood sites are using current Android phones for experimental movies. If there was a professionally edited footage using an EVO, I'd would have notice. I check vimeo 4x a day and specifically search for Android footage.
