Yes there are a few around but it's trial and error to get one to work. Droidkevlar's mm theme works for the circle battery on this rom. it's blue. Only apply the framework mm tho cuz the theme is meant for sense based roms. Don't do the jar file or you'll have a boot loop. makesure to nandroid first just in case.
Also, Android Bluz CM has a circle battery. It's green and it changes more icons in the notification bar as well. You can find kevlar's here or xda. The bluZ I got from the cyanogen website. I just used google and searched cyanogen 5.0.8 metamorphs .
I just updated mm two hours ago and I'm getting the same problem. But an earlier version I was was using all day before the update g have me no issues. I don't use apps2sd, so maybe something screwy with that? I'm not sure
Downloaded from where? Like what mm? I tried a few of the themes specifically called circle battery and couldn't get any to work. When you install mm it puts an androidtheme folder on your sdcard. Put the .zip in there then open mm. there is an unzip button. Then once it's unzipped click the green .xml file. Then either apply all or pick and choose what ones to apply. If you just downloaded mm today it may not work. Not sure why. That's a question for andrizoid.
Battery life seems to be ok now,
Things I have noticed:
*sometimes I have to reboot the phone to get my bluetooth to connect or even turn on
*the status led goes solid green on new texts / gchat / gvoice and sometimes only notifies me after i click the screen on
*launcher pro seems to be a bit slower when rooted and overclocked... may be a non rom issue
*phone at times seemed to be faster when not overclocked
im running at 710 / 710 normal setting, It seemed slower when it could scale down to 480 or lower, i didnt like how it had to jump back up.

can someone point me in the direction of some cool theme downloads? i have no idea where to look.
Just google cyanogen 5.0.8 metamorph or cyanogen themes or check xda under eris themes
So i'm guessing that with this latest build of White Widow apps2SD needs to be on due to a bug. Not bad but i was hoping not to turn that feature on just yet. i actually partitioned my 16GB Class 6 card when I got it so i'd be ready when i did decided to go that route.

I don't have apps2sd enabled with no issues. Mms works so far. No issued with market. There is wired tether but I haven't used it. I do see a difference in mflops from earlier ww... But it's still as fast or faster tthan a lot of roms. I get fc when using the search function. And long press did not bring up the camera.

I'm not running the latest WW, still on 4.4. My understanding is that not a whole lot has changed, at least that would affect "speed". JIT being enabled, based on what many have said, shows an increase in speed in benchmarks but the phone doesn't feel any faster.
If a user has enabled and is using A2SD without using a Class6 SD card, well they better not complain about speed. Even the developers of A2SD will tell you it's not a performance demon, it's a tool to make up for low application space on phones.
I've never tried wired tethering but just because the tool to enable it isn't included doesn't mean it won't work. There's an "issue" with including other people's apps in ROMs.

Yeah i've noticed there has been some issues, like SetCPU, with including them in custom ROMs.
I got a Class 6 card for the very reason of using apps2SD (well and double my storage capacity) if i find my internal storage gets too low. This way it minimizes the performance hit but increase space. Yet so far i've noticed space has not been an issue for me. Helps that i removed SenseUI, apps i don't use, and all the HTC specific widgets that I can't use with ADW.
I have PDANet for the tethering but it only works with Windows, and i use both Windows & Linux OSs on a few laptops. I'm actually hoping the wired tether app will work in a Linux distro, haven't tried (since it doesn't work for a stock ROM) so don't know yet.
I have 4.6 downloaded already so i'll probably give it a go during my lunch break and see how things work out.
I have a small question for anyone to assist with. I am still on 4.4, as we are out to sea outside of Hawaii, but this morning, my music would just FC like crazy. Only way to fix this was flashing a different ROM. Kinda bugging on me since the only thing my phone is good for right now is games and music. I have EE3 running right now, because like I said, that music part is integral right now. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks guys and to Andrizoid, I love this ROM! Great work man, can't wait to try smush when we get home.

today something crazy happened.
i was on the phone, and every minute or so it would beep like a lost call and i couldn't hear the other person, i pressed end, unlocked the phone, pressed call on that person, never rang, the person was still there without it ever hanging up on them. they could still hear me the whole time.
never heard of this before. and it hasn't happened since.

did anyone ever figure out the astro not being able to update thing? i was at the dentist for 4 hours today and am way to doped up to search through pages atm. and by atm, i mean at the moment. not ass to mouth. lol.

Perhaps you guys can help me out. I installed WW and I go to try and download an app from the market, but it just sits there saying starting download. I thought it might be an apps2sd issue, but it is grey'd out in my apps settings section which prevents me from enabling it. Is there something I missed?
You need to partition your SD card. IT WILL ERASE IT. Back up your stuff, and it's really quick and painless. Then select the option to upgrade ext2 to ext3. That's all. Then you can select it in the settings menu. I think there are instructions on the first page. I just did it yesterday, makes things very quick when changing roms as often as I was doing lol. Good luck mate.
EDIT: You do this in the Recovery menu. Forgot to throw that in there.
Have you rebooted since you updated it? I updated mine, but as soon as I rebooted it went back to the old version. I tried deleting it, and same result. After a reboot it would be back. I've switched to a different app to manage my sd card. I'll just let Astro sit there.

Yep, I've rebooted many times... What exactly is the problem? I'd actually prefer to have the old version. The only thing different about the "new" version is that it has ads at the bottom. Other than that I've noticed no difference, other than the default view is a large list with details. I changed it to not show the details, and the list items are smaller again (back to normal). I'm not sure what you are talking about yet though...

yes, but the problem is when you dont update, a pop up comes up saying this is an expired version every time i go to another folder.

So you are just saying that you want Astro without the ads? From your original post, it sounded like you couldn't get it to update. Misunderstanding

first off, Andrizoid thanks alot for the rom and good work, i recently rooted and was r using WW 4.4 only cause i typically use XDA and hadnt realized that you dont go there much. I just flashed 4.6 and for some reason apps from the market are not installing anyone know whaats up?
