I tried installing the HTC messaging zip from the 2nd wave thread and it still doesn't work. Time to restore my backup I guess...:(

When it works for me, it becomes tough to troubleshoot. Have either of you run logcats while sending messages?

Are folks with MMS troubles on wifi or 3G when sending/receiving?

Just MMS outgoing. I would be happy to run a logcat if you'll provide the instructions. On 3G

Yeah, the battery is in the phone and the charger is USB. Now if what you mean to say is "Are you changing off a USB port or with the wall charger", I'd say I'm plugged into the wall. How low do you typically let your battery get before you charge it? I probably haven't noticed this until now because I usually charge it in the office too (with a USB port on my PC), so it's never been too low.
 
this rom continues to amaze me btw.
been back and forth between 8/1 and these test builds and there is no comparison.

Ok, I have listed the MMS bug on the first page. I swear it worked when I was sending myself messages :)

Anyway, was out and about and my wife couldn't get them from me either. Look forward to the logcats.

Outgoing works perfectly through handcent, so it appears to be a conflict with the stock app versus something at the service level.
 
I can't really comment on mms 'cause i'm on sprint (don't ask).
I just tried one to myself and it worked fine but this is an evo port lol. maybe that works in my favor.
 
Alright, been mulling over logcats. MMS is trying to send through Sprint which of course is an issue.


I'll see what I can do. *scratches forehead*
