No doubt asked before but could you please tell me how to get the background of the text clock (I have Tajm) to be completely transparent? I only have a zillion more questions (got the DX yesterday) but doing my best to STFA first.

Uncheck (put the red x beside it) Display Background in the settings. Just tap the widget to get to the settings.

Yeah my little android marks the current date. I'm a little worried about how he will look when he gets to a date like the 25th because me may be a little slim. If he doesn't fit i cant always go back in and make him a little bigger.

If you already know how to modify the widgets then its pretty simple from there. Just replace widget_calendar_today_background.png in drawable hdpi with the one i have attached.

I use gimp to modify the images after extracting the .apk. Then rezip and sign them. I'm not totally sure if signing them is necessary since it is only exchanging .png's. 7zip/winzip maybe?....not really good with windows.

The whole launcher is themed this way to match the revolution theme and its widgets.

Ah. That sucks. I don't think I could talk myself into purchasing another lock app either. But it is definetly widget locker. I can tell because of that annoying door in the notification bar. That's why I stopped using it. I hate apps unnecessarily being in the notification bar

You do know there's an option to turn that off, right?

Yeah you will have to run the app first then when it finishes add the contact widget and select the group of people you want to appear in the widget and they should have pictures connected to them. Also once the app has run and the contacts are synced with google the pictures don't have to be on your phone anymore.
