Please check to see if your system/app has a file named android-syncservice-app.apk. I noticed that mine did not so I copied it from 2.3.15 and installed, now my backup assistant is working. I remember reading somewhere that android-syncservice-app.apk was needed for backup assistant to work.

I've been very happy using LP with apeX. How much does a third party launcher like LP slow it down?
 
Try going directly into the Email app and setup the account that way. I have gotten Ymail to work with the email app.

Pretty sure the wizard in 'my accounts' is looking for the Blur email client, which is what is causing it to fail.

Under Menu settings, I went to accounts and tried to add Yahoo Mail.
It fails to add it everytime.
Can't get my Yahoo email added under my accounts.

A window pops up, says
"Error, Could not connect to server"

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes no .odex I installed BackupAssistanceClient.apk from 2.3.15. I remembered reading somewhere that android-syncservice-app.apk was needed for backup assistant to work. This "script" stuff is new to me. How do I go about turning off the superuser notification and how do I change the color of the musicmod notification? Thanks in advance.

For Superuser, click on the app in your app drawer. Then hit menu -> settings, there is an option for notifications.

Not sure about the musicmod notification
 
To change the musicmod notification color, press menu at the now playing screen and there will be an option for settings.

When you first install it, battery drains really fast. It normalizes later.

Does the regular player still work. I like realhdmi but its very unreliable.
 
anyone that is having internet issues, dial *228 and select option 1, even if your phone makes calls and you have done this in the past. My internet just stopped working one morning, *228 and option 2 didn't help but *228 and option 1 fixed it
 
As much as I like this Blur Free ROM and how quick it is I am starting to regret installing it. I just got it installed yesterday and today I have already had my second random reboot. I never had random reboots running the original 2.3.9 leak that I was using until I installed ApeX yesterday. I haven't installed any new apps so there is nothing new that would be causing crashes.

I am going to give it a couple more days, but if I keep getting reboots I am going to go back to 2.3.9 :(
 
No reboots here and going on day 3. Loving it more every day. Just reinstalled LP for it's calendar and facebook widgets. I noticed a lock screen lag after doing that. First time it has happened since install. I love the TranQ home but need my calendar and facebook. Thanks again for the ROM, great work!

I installed Apex this morning and had to 2 freeze ups/reboots today when unlocking my phone so I just restored my backup for now. It freezes just as the lock reaches the right side of the screen. Hopefully this is something that can be worked out, I'm really impressed with this ROM and would like to use it.
 
I had my first reboot when I tried to open Slacker, after the reboot I was able to use Slacker fine. I had me second reboot when I turned my screen on one time.

Those are the only problems I have had and I love everything else about this ROM so I am going to give it a little more time, but if the reboots keep happening that is something that I can not live with.
 
I've gotten a lot of reboots too, but it's worth it for the battery life alone. Been unplugged since 7:30am, under heavy use I'm sitting pretty at 30% and it's almost 10PM. Purely awesome.
 
ok total noob question but i really need backupmanager, how do i install it? i need step by step here
