Fantastic. Do i have to select 'Backup my data' under the Privacy tab or can i leave this off and it will still work?

This has nothing to do with the purchased aps.

Actually beware of this setting. Its purpose is to backup your apps and settings to google server. That part works. The ugly things are.

1. its bugged and sometimes to be known as a battery drainer
2. when you install a new rom, with auto restore, it will start download everything the minute you sign on. Means 100 apps will start downloading regardless the connection you are using.

(Use TitaniumBackup).
 
I flashed 2.1 without a wipe and somehow managed to make it bootloop and resorting a nand backup didn't help...

Fixed it, but that's really not what you want at 6 am in the morning.

yeah you dont have to tell me :) . But its the first release that did the reboots/signal loss actually for me. (as stated before back on floyo :P)
 
Yeah that might be, but he kinda should write the clear difference between them D: . And maybe go with teh Special Edition like a stable build every half year :P. Now he is confusing me :)

Still how is it?
 
Well I had one random reboot during the first few minutes, but now it's up and running it seems as good as ever.

I've nice to have 2.2.1 as well :)
 
Well I thought Froyd 1.5 was good. I was reluctant to flash again, but after a month happy phone use I took the plunge.

Definitely very happy with elelinux.
 
Well still nice ROM but not getting the battery life that some people are claiming.
On Froyd 1.5 I was usually managing to get 20 hours before needing recharge.

On Elelinux I've managed to go 15 hours since last recharge and am down to 30 on the battery.

Very similar I would say

Yes, advice, wait till its fixed? Since a month there was a promised fix(from Team Villain). Still nothing. But this bug is on every CM6 based rom for chosen ppl :D. There are some settings you could try out though. Search on the VR forum :) (there is a closed sticky thread for that)

Dunno what your activities are on the phone but with moderate calling,texting and surfing I managed to squeeze 48hrs out of him....

Of course with oc flykernel.....

If I turn off wifi and 3g and only use for texting and occasional call I can get 3 days out of it.

My problem is I often have 3g or wifi running hence battery drain. I can live with charging evey evening, I'd just prefer not to.
 
Might have to roll back to froyd.

does anyone else get this random thing with the keyboard where wrong keys get pressed (completely wrong, as in on the other side of the screen). then the whole screen wobbles, then i put into standby and when i come out it usually works better.

lol its a good thing . the "damn" was to the fact I am envious :P I wanna a new floyo :P

and I love the changelog. WIPE WIPE AND WIPE :P . Sounds pretty good , seems new changes and seems all working (then again this was always everytime written)

Lol, yeah. If you believed all the download pages, everything is always 100% working ;)

I have an app stuck in my market that won't download and cancelling it FCs the market. So this is good timing :)
 
Xyro this wont help that. The market is having major trouble everywhere on everything what I heard. (This few days, not counting months slight trouble after froyo)

This FC and etc. And stuck on downloading even after FC and clean cache and data. Its spooky. ...
 
I think it's happened to me before and I thought a ROM flash fixed it (might've been google sorting them selves out I suppose).

I'll see what happens when I flash.
 
Well I would flash too. But right now, no time for a serious set up ... . But tell me how it goes. Btw you didnt try the sense rom?
