Accessories Got an HTC 1500mah battery today.

Hey guys, so is it safe to say that you all think that Bidallies 1500 replacement OEM battery for the TP2 is better for the Incredible than the 1500 and 1700/1750 from Seidio. Please advise. I'm about to buy my first replacement battery. Thanks.

Unless you're one of those people who enjoys paying three times as much and getting less for your money, get the 1500 OEM from bidallies and don't look back.

Thanks guys. I ordered my 1500 from Bidallies via ebay at lunch. So, hopefully, it will be here by Saturday so that I can test it out before traveling for work next week. Now, I do have a question. Since this is not the (2) batteries + charger deal that Amazon offers, what charger do you suggest I buy to charge the spare battery when it's not in the phone? I see that the chargers are listed according to the phone type and not the battery type. Will a 1500 battery fit in a charger for a 1300 and vice versus? Help...:( I'm just trying to get as much out of this phone as possible. I swear it's darn near perfect except for stock battery life.

I ordered a cheap wall charger off of Ebay for like $10-15. It works for my 1300, 1500, and 2150. As far as I know, they should fit fine.

Like I said, the one I ordered was just a generic cheap one on Ebay. I believe it actually came from Hong Kong. I've had no issues with it thus far, and I've had it for 3 months.

hey Wicket, are you still liking that battery you got or would you have bought the Bidallies 1500 replacement? Do you still have a gap on the back cover or has it settled down yet? thanks

yes I am completely blown away by this battery! currently I have:
UP Time: 14h 40m
Awake time: 3h 43m
Unplugged: 14h 35m
with 40% left light - medium use
I'm going to post a more complete "review" below.

K guys so after a few days with the 1800mah Evo4G generic battery from here I am completely blown away! you can also find them on Amazon here which is where I got mine.
currently I have:
UP Time: 15h 30m
Awake time: 4h 15m
Unplugged: 15h 15m
with 30% left light - medium use, I am trying to drain it before bed but that's not going to happen.. :P

yesterday was I think around..
UP Time: 16h+
Awake time: 8h+
Unplugged: 16h+
unplugged around 8am and died around 12am - used all day listening to music (Pandora, mp3) and a 30min navigation to work (unplugged) downloaded a ton of apps, surfed internet. pretty much I was trying to kill it and see if I could have medium - heavy days and make it.
I wish I had wrote the numbers down cause now I can' remember exacts.. (fail)

Day 1 though I got 20h uptime/unplugged can't remember awake time, was up there though. Used it a lot but also had 5h of not being used at all.

So in general you'll easily break 8h.. 10h.. 16h maybe 20! doing some math you should get ~27% battery increase. :) and I didn't really ever have a gap but any hairline space has gone away now. Well there we have it, The Bidallies ones are still an excellent choice and give an extra ~15% increase in mah and they are OEM which kinda mattered to me but these had some good reviews from both Incredible and Evo owners so I figured for the same price I'd give it a go and I am happy.

Initially I didn't notice any difference but now my battery lasts a considerable bit longer(it's been about 3weeks). Right now +24hr up time is normal with light use, and I managed to get ~19hrs awake with about 37% left with moderate use. I no longer have to worry about keeping my phone on the charger which is awesome.

Still blown away? If the reports are good, I'll be purchasing one of these myself. I love my Incredible, but as most of us know, the batter life doesn't always live up to the Incredible name.

Just got my 15% warning w/ very light use.. been sick so not really doing a lot but does show that idle with light use (a few texts, email, IM's, took some pictures and listened to music for a bit) this battery can last almost 2 days. I say Bidallies if OEM is something you look for or the one I got. Both will be great and have proven their worth in my opinion.

Not sure how well my Bidallies 1500 is doing. Had it about a month or so. Stats for today...

Up time: 13:25
Awake time: 4:35
Time unplugged: 13:25
Eighteen percent left

about an hour straight of Kindle, about two hours of searching the market, downloading items and customizing docks and icons, the rest spent checking mail and texting. Only about 15 min of total web use today.

no live wallpapers, screen at about 50%

That is beyond awesome. I'm not concerned about the battery being OEM; my concern is that it can last me through the day with moderate use, especially on the weekends when I'm not in the office with a charger on hand. Sounds like the one you have will do the trick. Thanks for sharing! (And I hope you feel better. :) )

Thanks, I am feeling better now :)
it will definitely last, in my opinion this is the battery everyone was hoping for out of the Siedo since this was mah tested at 1750mah and the $iedo was tested at 1340mah vs its claimed 1750mah!!

This past Sunday I ordered the Chi Chi Tech 1800 through HTC Express. I've been saving my battery stats for the past couple days and I will continue to do so, and then I will do the same with the 1800 battery to get a slightly more scientific comparison of the batteries.

As previously posted by Wicket, I think I am going to order this EVO 1800mAh CHICHITEC SPRINT HTC EVO 4G BATTERY 1800mAh high capacity OEM Verizon Incredible Droid TOUCH PRO2 HTC HERO

It comes with 2 batteries (I can give one to my fiancee) and a wall charger which I'll keep at work. Has anyone tested these to see what the actual mAh rating they are reaching?

You may want to check out www.htcexpress.com that is the seller's website and through there, you can order 1 battery for $15 (what I did) AND they have free shipping. (The Amazon order charges for shipping, I was originally going to order that deal as well)

I ordered my battery Sunday, it shipped Monday, and I have it today (Wednesday). That is awesome for free shipping (USPS).

I will charge it tonight and start running tests through the next week or two. Obviously the first few days I will have to condition it and let it break in.

That's the same link I posted. You're not trying to SPAM are you? ;)

just got my 1500 bidallies in the mail. definitely a much tighter fit, but just small enough so it doesn't cause any gaps. the top and sides click down into place. makes my seidio case not creak anymore either.

oh and i also read somewhere that it takes more effort to get the back plate off your phone. not at all from my experience.

Can't wait to see your results!!!

is it just me or does it take anyone else forever to bump charge the bidallies 1500? it was bump charging for over an hour today and the light was still red.

Hi, did you have to buy a replacement back cover or does the stock one still fit? I just got my Inc 2 days ago and I'm pretty annoyed with the battery life. I love the phone, don't get me wrong, but the 1300 battery that HTC shipped the Inc will is an embarassment.

edit: I just ordered the 1800 from HTC Express based on some of the reviews listed in here. It said 3-5 days for shipping I'm hoping I'll see it by weeks end. Can the stock 1300 battery be charged in the wall charger that comes with this too?
