Oh Reading above -
For the PRL - Just Nandroid back to your rooted stock and update.
Then Nandroid back to the rom of your choosing and it will be there....EASY AS PIE!

I must say this, that I have been on this Rom for a little less than a week now and absolutely love it, snappy, responsive, Blue Tooth works great, no dial lag, so I want to say thank you MCat and others for all your help convincing me!! I highly recommend this Rom, I should have rooted a longtime ago. a no brainer !!!! ;)

Couple of issues I have notice but not deal breakers

Cannot create Gmail Icons shortcuts for each Gmail account, meaning when I click on that account it takes me to the last one opened instead of the Gmail short cut made for the account

And still have not been able to get wireless tether to work, but will try Barnacle tonight to see ** Update Got to work with Barnacle tether **

Would be nice to have a feature to disable the lock screen, I am using an app for that right now called No Lock

Widget locker? It's in the market:confused:

Just Saw the JIT Post above -
Easy to disable if you want -

I use ES Storage - Settings - Root options - Check Root Explorer- Pick HIAPK - Then Mount file system - Go to System build prop - and type fast - then save - the go back to seetings and unount card and uncheck root options. Reboot and JIT is disabled.

What does this do other than shortcuts on your lockscreen I believe ??? I meant the lock screen on the home screen to be able to disable it, that is why I use no lock from the market to disable it !!

Interesting on what you posted just don't know what the purpose is, lol

Disabling it would serve what ?? just curious

You said this was an issue, not sure what widget locker would do then either, lol:D

Let me clarify incase I did not explain it properly, I meant to say to disable the lock screen, so when you hit the Home or the end button when the phone is in sleep mode the lock screen will not appear, you can start navigating right away, that is what No luck does but I think it would be nice to be able to disable the lock screen in the settings. that is all, LOL

I have not looked into it that much, but the CM6 rom does have some added features in cyanogenmod settings, maybe there is a feature like that in CM6

No I have not found anything in AOSP 0.9.7 to disable it, I am still on that ROM

One thing I have noticed on the Rom is that the signal strength is always at one bar when I check it, I have not lost any calls to my knowledge, just curious if anyone else on the Rom have noticed this, mind you every time I check I am home, so I will make a point to check tomorrow when I am out and about.

Yep I will also while I am driving tomorrow to see, mind you like I mentioned have not missed any calls, so not worried about, was just curious

I have no issues with signal Strengh - Give it a whirl at the Beach shop!

FYI -
Aosp has a mod up there that you can just flash over the rom -

Fixes GPS issues and a wake lag issue (hadn't noticed)
Looks like a new kernal -

Thanks will check it out, I checked today and must of missed that, umm kool, creating a backup as we speak

This problem with only seeing one bar is an AOSP rom issue, not aosp 0.9.7, AOSP roms in general, just fyi. Your signal is not any better or any worse;)

If it's annoying there is a fix for that

before doing a backup it says that we need the Clockworkmod whaeteve thing... It's not on the market, well, there's one, but it says that's only for Droid users. I already have the Rom Manager, but where can we get the Clockwordmod Rom Manager?

Just curious though, what is the fix, I am going to flash the Mod for now, so far no calls missed, was just curious and does not bother me as long and I do not miss calls

Just curious anyone know what happened to JoeHunni, I have not seen him around the forums lately ??

ClockworkMod is the recovery image for Rom Manager
