Root [ROM] Axura 2.2.5.5 (by Master -Devs4Android-)

We have a winner. This will be my new daily driver. The only thing I don't like about it is that I miss the old 2.2 battery icon. This is by far the smoothest ROM out there right now.
 
Downloading now, haven't even had a chance to try out 2.2.5 yet, and already this update. Man these guys are fast. I've got the Gingerbread Keyboard and I really like it, so I'm happy to see that that's in here. My one gripe (from the changelog) is that LauncherPro is uninstallable, and I really like their calendar widget.
 
I am also downloading it now. I will wait till I get home to flash it though. Right now I am 160 miles from home with my brother on a bit of a vacation and will need something to do with this present when I get home lol.


EDIT: I lied I can't wait LOL. Going to do it after I do a full and complete backup.
 
I ll give it a try sometime soon. If not tomorrow, within the next few days. Ive got it downloaded. I was going to try Nero 3 but i see many from Nero 3 are downloading and installing this.

I most want better battery life but seems this will give me even more speed since im not using a lag fix on Axura 2.2. No ROM or Modem ive tried has givin me better battery life.
 
I know I keep saying this, but seriously, try out Eugene's super IO kernel. No lagfix needed, if you don't want it. It's fast, and battery life is insane.
 
Got it setup last night and finished putting the last widget on this morning and this is what it looks like now using the Zeam desktop that it came with. Looks pretty awesome and btw thats a thunderstorm live wallpaper I am using.

I love this thing! With super IO I have been running now for 14 hours and still have 55% battery!




EDIT: I don't see anything in the thread tools that allow me to change the heading. I'd rather not just up and start a new thread.

On the market its called Sense analog clock widget. I have the weather disabled now in hopes it will save a bit on the battery.
 
I can't seem to change the wallpaper with this rom installed. My phone is still showing my wallpaper from when my phone was stock, but when I go to "wallpaper" and try to change my selection nothing happens. Help please?
 
Just flashed it, and now I'm just waiting for my apps to be backed up. What are the bigger changes because I only played with it for a bit before backing up and didn't notice much. I can only assume it's just as good as it was before...
 
ok......ive finally rooted ,downloaded axura 2.2 now wont load in only install pkges. any helkp out there thanks

I had the same problem, did you reboot because as soon as I did that it worked perfectly! :D
 
I just tried the new axura. I really like it now because i can actually change the font. I like both nero and axura but i am staying with the axura for now because my GPS is so much better.
