Hey DX'rs!! Launcher Pro updated to have transition animations!!!

So, am I alone or does everyone have a stupid number of paid launchers? Currently I have paid for LPP, ADW EX, Open Home, and GDE (havent seen an update for the last two in a year and dont have them installed).

Guess its time to redo LPP and see whats new!

Very impressed by the smoothness of these animations. I was pretty skeptical at first. Now I can't flippin wait for the gmail widget :D

Wow.. I did the update but never even though to check what it did..haha Im really liking the "flip" transition.

Gmail app you say? I guess ive been off this site for too long recently.. That will be AMAZING!

Was on LPP...then went to Go Launcher...then back to stock...now I am on ADW-EX. If all that is in this new version is animated transitions, I will stick with ADW. I got mine set up just how I like it. I am anxious for the new, rewritten LPP, though. It sounds enticing.

Side off topic note...did anyone ever get an invite to that crazy new invite beta thing? The thread was called "New Wild UI" or something like that.

I didn't

Only thing keeping me from going back to LPP is the ability to resize/edit icons. ADW EX with pure messenger/calender and colorize widgets is just as good. I do miss hiding apps in the drawer on LPP. Both great on the DX.

I don't think you can resize icons but you can set your own for any app shortcut in LPP. You can resize widgets but I don't think that's what you're hoping for.

Desktop visualizer can and its free in the market

Uh.. .what bubble transition are you talking about? I don't have it on my LPP.

Is it worth it to go Pro?

I think you mean PLUS, because LauncherPro, is already Pro lol ;)

being Plus gives you the widgets...personally i only use the calendar widget, but i know plenty of others that use all the LPP widgets...

i went Plus not really for the widgets, but to support Federico and the development of the app...LauncherPro made my phone so much better that i wanted to support the dev...

Honestly? The widgets in Plus are top of the line. They're as good as sense ui widgets. Ever since I've left the Incredible for the DX, I've missed sense ui scrolling widgets, like calendar, twitter, etc. Next week, Federico is adding a gmail widget. Good times.

+1 Here. I only use the friends widget, but I got PLUS 100% to support the developer. Its cheap. Im eagerly waiting for the full rewrite, I have high hopes for it. LPP is already my #1.
