Root New .591 Gingerbread (Gingerblur) leak

Well I figured I'd be the guinea pig and try to install this over the Apex 2.0 alpha 2. It installed without any problems. The only thing I don't like about GB is the extremely long time it takes to boot up.
 
I think I have everything I need to give this .591 a test drive. Let's see, I have the new BWC theme, the deodexed.zip file, and I'm not sure what else I need....lol.

I do know I need a linky to the new GB .591. Can someone be so kind as to post the link for the new GB?

EDIT: I found the file GB_591_deodexed.zip. Is this the full deodexed file and the one I need? I also have the Gingerbreak-v1.10.apk file.

This is good to know, sounds like an Alpha for Apex should be out tonight for .591. I am holding off until then to see what I need to do. My phone has never run better than it has been on the Alpha Apex for gingerbread.

Enjoying it (and the theme) so may just wait a bit. Does .591 fix the lag in the keyboard when texting?
 
Trooper, turning off the word pop-up when typing helps with the lag a lot. At least it did on mine. give that a try along with the usual stuff, turning off predictive text, etc.

How does one go about doing this? I looked through the MT keyboard settings with no option to turn this off.
 
excuse my absence the last week.....i just got power on last night.. been out since the Tornadoes tore up my state last Wed night. ...on to bidness

What would be the process to move from the .573 leak to this leak?
Would it be worth it?


and also as someone mentioned earlier i get the notification when my phone is plugged up and it hits the full charge status as well. Every time i do something on the phone while it is plugged up and then lock the screen i get the noti again.

you should be able to flash right over .573. You'll need to get rooted afterwards using gingerbreak 1.2
