If your using fotosizer you need to change the small box on the top to pixels from percentage that should fix your problem. I was having the same problem.

500 mb what the hell? They should be more in the range of oh...1 mb to 50 mb tops and that is generous, the largest one i have is 17mb...I dont know what the sizes are on captivate but on our phones it is 480X800 (i think...?). Sounds like your sizes are way off. Also what format are they, png? How many pngs do you have?

Its because of what I said above. When you that box checked in percentage it doesnt convert the image to the right size and your left with a conversion that large.

to get your typed in size to be tru and not a lager scale .... you have to click on the the box to the right of the box that you putt your size it to... change the % sign to px..... and it will resize to your exact input

just a FYI, i use ACDSEE for my image editor... have used it forever... simple, easy to use interface... batch options, etc... all-a-round decent prog... heck, i'm still using v2.5 (it's now up to 4) and it still handles all my needs... it's hard to walk someone thru image editing when we're not sure what they are using... each editor is different, unique in it's own way... "just a little tid bit from your Uncle Vern"

Oh no you are right it is likely his sizing just wasn't sure he was using fotisizer, so changing his sizes might be diff

Whats up people I know this isnt the right place for this question. But Iam still havinh this major problem with the not being able to do the nandroid backups with the error saying something went wrong. Posted this at XDA yestruday
So nobody else can help out with this I spent 4 hours trying to get rid of this problem. I was able to get my back up nandroid of CM7 when I first installed everything went fine. And it took a while to get the whole setup the way I had. Thats whith saving my ADW Ex settings and desktop because I had just installed the rom the day before which was on the 6 the nandroid got made on the 7th.
So once I got every back to its original state of course the first thing I tried was to make a nandroid again and Guess what same stupid ****ing shit with ******ed error. Now I have serious problem back to square one. Because I cant save nandroids and cant load my sense rom so I can fix the GPS which is why I even had done this whole mission.
Now when I was wiping the both caches and data I figured why dont I go back to my sense rom before I flash the CM7 which I did. Followed the GPS fix directions exaclty and when I loaded back into the CM7 nothing. So all this time spent was done for nothing. Please someone tell me how to get this error off my Evo. And what doesnt make sense it says check the log file and I do and theres nothing there. So what hell is going on. Sorry but Iam very tired and very frustrated at this point.
AMON RA should really have put a warning or some stop to that option because of the problem it can cause like this one. Anybody in here know anyone thats an expert in AMON RA.
And after I tried to make the nandroid something was going on with the smoothness of the UI it would be a bit jumpy which I have know idea how this could affect that. It gets fixed when you reboot.

The only info I found that could be causing this is that sd Card is damaged. But I tried both of my SD card are giving the error and both sd card are working fine so really dont think that can be the proble.

Ok if u can not make a nandroid of your asop rom then u will not be able to complete the GPS fix
Your nandroids are stored on your SD card. Have u tried using a different SD card when making the nandroid

Yeah I have tried both the 2gig which has two successfully saved nandroid one from my Stock rom and the second from the second day of my CM7.
And also tried my 8gig main sd card and this once gave me the same error.
Oceanbreeze told me to load up the nandroid on the 2 gig on to my computer format the card and see of that works. Which Iam going to try now its just going to take me a while because my USBs are not functional and need to do this through a FTP app with wifi.
