Root Calkulin_s_Format_ALL.zip????

yeah i wipe system, dalvik cache and cache first, then flash caulkin's. i know it is overkill but i have never had any issues and it does just a takes a seconds to do.

Ha I have V's VR SUPERWiPE now! It does a triple wipe so i dont have to, among other things like clearing temp...

See I always wipe 3 times, before i would manually clear everything twice then flash calkulins, or flash calkulin 3 times if i was feeling lazy, now i just flash superwipe. The way they clear is slightly different which is why i manually did it at all because im weird, thats why...

Does Kings format all do the same thing as Calkulin's? I guess I will probably get Viper's triple wipe as well. I have never had any issues and I always use Calkulin's format all file. Works like a charm.

I cant be positive but im pretty sure kings and calkulins do the same exact steps. I have never used kings. You can always open the script and see what its doing. Superwipe clears some tmp stuff too other than that its the same as kings and calkulin except what they do it does 3 times.

sorry i havent been back after the response I have gotten. But insure after reading all your post. I have already used the zip. Between the 2, which have found to be better one to use?

I use super wipe it clears temp and wipes everything 3 times. they basically do the same thing, superwipe just does it more lol.

interesting thread.
While i have wiped here and there I never actually did a full wipe much less three times. (i swear that sentence is so full of wrong lol )

But if memory serves me right, i do remember at least once having an issue because i didn't wipe before doing an install.

I'll download the above and do that before installing MikG this weekend.

Thanks all.

I mean a full wipe is always suggested just to be safe but between you and i it depends on what you are flashing to and from, sense to sense, meh you'll probably survive that, aosp to aosp, probably ok, deodex to odex, fail, sense to aosp, fail, you get the idea if they are the same beast you'll probably get by if they are inherently different you'l have problems....

Keep in mind im talking about full wipe, you'll always want to wipe cache and dalvik at least...

Ignore i said any of this and do full wipes :D
