Accessories are showing up

I'd like to see a leather pouch/holster released.

Good news on rooting the device so I don't have to wait too long to get my WiFi tethering back.

Spare Batteries. The EVO 4G used the same battery as another phone so there were plenty of spares for cheap out there. Any clue if the EVO 3D's battery is the same as another phone? I'd like to pick up a spare or two w/charger for under $25.
 
After having a phone with an extended battery and one without; I am seriously considering in having one for my Evo3D. It's so much more convenient. Also, between having a pouch & a case for my phone. I really like the pouch much better. I may break that preference for this phone however because I would like to have a kickstand as well.
 
Well since we talking about accessories I just purchased a tpu case and some bad ass looking designer hard case for my girl in preparation of our 3vo purchase in two weeks. I like the htc kickstand case but damn, $30? Not a chance in hell.
 
I was just wondering what will come included with the Evo3D?

My last phone came with:
  • Charging cradle
  • Wall charger
  • Cloth carrying "pouch"
  • Manual
  • USB to Micro-USB cable
  • Battery

This will be my first Android. Are those accessories generally included with HTC Products?

Yes to everything you mentioned except for the pouch and charging cradle. Phones simply just don't come with cool stuff anymore.

I'm sure Sprint will offer the case with kickstand on launch day for a great price. Probably offer package deals like they did last year.
 
Ebay has a boat load of stuff

HTC EVO 3d | eBay

most of it is from China or Hong Kong (well, all of it is but this stuff is shipping from there lol)

I picked up some of the generic batteries and charger for my 4G last year and they work great. So I got some and a couple cheap cases for my gf last night.

Just thought I'd let people know, but I'm sure it comes as no surprise

I only use cases and screen protectors from Seidio and Boxwave. Seidio is great about replacing items that break, you don't get that with eBay.

I was just putting the info out there, if you don't need it, great, but there might be some people out there looking for stuff. I was just giving a link where there are lots of options. I wasn't vouching for the quality of the merch, just that there were lots of "cheap" options.
 
I hope none of you guys bought those otterbox cases because if so you got ripped off by like $40-45 since those were fake. I emailed them and they said so and also it seems that otterbox made the seller stop selling the cases.

Good information. That's why I stay away from ebay. Don't need lead based cases or knock offs in my crib.
 
I plan to have an Active case from Seidio and a kickstand case from HTC. But if i like the kickstand case I will definitely use that case as my primary case. And if I don't I will just use it when I want to watch a movie. But the Seidio Active case rocks on my EVO 4G.

If you crave a white EVO 3D, buy a white case from Seidio and your phone will look hot.
 
Steinheil Screen Protectors are inbound. Confirmed via Twatter. No date yet, but they may even use their Ultra Optics material for something besides an Apple product (I exaggerate. I've had a long standing problem with their preference towards Apple) ;)

Ultra Optics really is good stuff. I customized for my Evo 4G. Keeps finger prints and oils at a reduced state, I only have to wipe the screen about once or twice a day I'd estimate. It is clearer than their other Anti-Fingerprint products, although still has a slight clarity and focus problem. Some people dislike the new texture and quiet "zip" noise when swiping (I like it). Also there is a rainbow effect with reflected lighting which is aggravated by the underlying array technology. All things considered still the best product on the market in my opinion.
