Root [ROM] ApeX V2.0.0 Release Candidate (RC2) (6/11/2011)

So I flash CM7 to see how it was...and now I'm back on 596 Rooted/Deodexed.

You guys think once I flash apex 2.0 RC 2, I could then just flash the nandroid I made before checking out CM7 to get everything back like it was?
 
I tried doing the script:

Scripts
  1. poweroverwhelming : activate Quadrant "turbo" mode
  2. sys : mount system r/w and r/o

And all I get is "permission denied". I am on OTA Ginger meeting all specs stated on the original post.
 
Do I need to unfreeze all of my frozen apps in Ti Backup prior to flashing RC2? (this is the first rom I have ever flashed, so please forgive my ignorance).

Ok, I just flashed this and none of my market apps or settings will restore. Is this a bug in the RC2? Apex seems blazing fast but not having my apps restore kinda kills it. Any help?

Reboot the phone.

If that doesn't work, clear Market cache and data and reboot.
 
I finally did a data wipe and now it is up and running. In the process of restoring everything.

En:pjoying Apex, very snappy! Two questions. When viewing websites on GB, sites that had rss feeds had a tab next to the address to subscribe. Is there a setting to change that? Also wondering if there are any settings for the notification light.

I dont know what the problem is, but i cannot get any of my apps to restore. Only my purchased apps show up in the market. I'm coming from stock rooted .596. I followed the instructions to the letter. Several apps won't even show up(I get the msg "app cannot be found.") I've rebooted, cleared market cache, etc.....

Try going into Market and go to settings. Make sure your content filtering is set to show all apps. Seems like this resets itself after a wipe and defaults to the lowest filtering allowed so that almost all apps available won't show. Once show all apps is checked everything shows up again. Hope this helps.

How did you apply the circle battery in your notification bar? I've tried using Airmaxx's zips but every time I apply one some of the Blur framework comes through and bleeds through the theme (notification pull-down, contacts header, etc)

I'm using BWC on ApeX 2.0 RC2 ;)
 
keeps popping up saying facebook needs authentication, when i get off work and actually have signal i will SS it and show you, it randomly happens, but it loses the authentication to facebook, not sure if its a facebook app or what.
 
With all the complaints and flaws with the beta CM7 i am absolutely soaking up all this glory running my flawless APEX RC2 mmmmmmmm Thanks Fab :)

problem is i would have to take the picture with my actual camera and unfortunately i do not have the cord to connect it, and it uses an old slim sd card, so it kinda sux when you try to take a picture and transfer it lol

so fab i cant use screen grabber to actually show you the pic because once the facebook authenticator is showing up you can access other programs but it will close out of the facebook authenticator :(

Works perfect

Here's a fun issue. While in Navigation, when I receive a text the screen starts blinking on and off. Pressing home brings it to the home screen but this might want to get looked at.

I don't know how drocap works with taking pics, but have you tried ShootMe? Just have to shake the phone and it snaps a picture of your screen.. may do the trick.
