Root [ROM] ApeX V2.0.0 Release Candidate (RC2) (6/11/2011)

Hmm, That's not a good sign, then. No idea what that could mean.

I'm assuming you tried rebooting your phone already, right?

You can also try re-installing the Rom again, it won't mess with your data. If that doesn't work, then it may require you to clear cache and wipe data.

So I installed blur alarm zip. Problem is after a reboot my alarms aren't active, nor is the icon in the notification bar. Have to open the app, untick the alarms, then tick them again. I am using the bwc theme. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it. I can see this getting me in big trouble, lol!

I installed Apex and it is blazing fast with much improved battery life. But I have one problem. I work 24 hour shifts so I pay for and use 3G mobile hotspot every shift. I downloaded the app archive zip and its not on the list. I downloaded a mobile hotspot app from XDA and also from the TBH app and neither would work.
Does anyone know of a link to the VZW mobile hotspot app or of any other working hotspot app?

The hotspot is accessible from Settings->Wireless and Networking->Tethering.

Looks like installing MTKB is responsible for breaking the home and camera hard keys. Also causes new voicemail notification when now new messages exist. Weird. Still no luck with the widgets.....

It does that on Stock ApeX 2.0 with no theme installed for me too. The alarm icon is no longer in the status bar after a reboot, but the alarm is still active; after the alarm turns on at the set time, the icon comes back in the status bar.

Here's a pic with the alarm set and the icon is clearly not in the status bar (this is stock ApeX 2.0, no themes):

I suggest you stick to DeskClock (comes with ApeX 2.0) if you want to keep the alarm icon in the status bar.

Well even using the desk clock that came with apex my icon is still not staying in notification bar. Do need to uninstall the blur one?

I have both DeskClock and BlurAlarmClock installed. Using DeskClock it works fine, using BlurAlarmClock is when the icon disappears after a reboot.

I updated BWC yesterday at around 3pm. Do you have the latest BWC installed?.....I'm not sure if AccountsAndSyncSettings affects the alarm clock, but you might want to upgrade and test again, or apply the Accounts fix (that's if you aren't on the latest BWC).

I think my alarm settings are staying now, thanks bo. Now if I could talk you into theming the messaging app I would be all set! Can't stand that white page glaring at me lol!
