Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

well, i came back to CM7 from a few hours of SSX. Didnt care for all that blue color... FYI, I just wiped myself really well and flashed nightly 14 right over SSX and shazam. Im going to ride this one out to final and not run willy-nilly when something new turns up.

I'm sorry man, I just had to laugh when I read this:

"FYI, I just wiped myself really well..."

Aside from all that blue, SSX is working really well for me, snappier than CM7. After removing Android Overclock my phone hasn't rebooted yet, but we'll see how that goes :D:D:D

I don't know if any of you guys are experiencing random reboots, but my phone is doing it all the time. It seems like it's an issue with the phone not being able to go to sleep properly because the issue does not occur if use terminal emulator to take a wake lock, which should prevent the phone from truly sleeping. Is anybody else experiencing this issue or knows of a solution? I don't really want to run terminal emulator with a wake lock all the time since it's going to kill my battery way faster lol. I'm on the latest nightly. Thanks in advance!

Yea. When CM7 gets 1% batt incriments I'm going back to CM7. SSX is great, but the blue is wayy to much! Lol. I can just wipe data/cache and flash nighrlt #15 when its out?

Did you try applying a theme over it to get rid of the blue?

ChevyNo1 did say he would theme it more stock-like (like CM7) if enough people requested it. I guess not enough people are requesting it :D
 
i put a black and a gray theme over it but there were still blue check boxes all over the place. Once everything settles out i sure hope you do your thing one more time!

and yes, you just wipe everything and you can install a nightly directly over SSX.
 
Just didn't see the point of flashing a ROM that was a themed version of what I was running. Chevy's toolbox looked pretty cool though.
