Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

Flashing #21 soon. I am just getting on this after being on the "OTA" and hating it. So far it has been much better.

Will report back

For whatever reason I can't stay away from CM7. I keep going back and forth every few days. I think I am a fan of AOSP and the customization of this.

Back to CM7 tonight!

Quick question, accidentally flashes newer gapps zip. Can you flash and older version over it? Having some sync issues.

Nevermind. Operator error.

So, the question for today would be:
If I wanted to start from scratch, and want all the working items to be included... What are the files needed to get everything all in one flash?

Nothing for to noticeable for us. #22 should bring some sort of camera focus. As I'm typing this, there is a pretty bad lag. This is also noticeable while texting.

I find myself flashing CM7 and then SBF - 2 part to GB and then flash my Liberty GB 0.8 nandroid. I love the ROM and the speed of it. But I can't take the battery life. I even gave it a few days this time. I can get a max of about 12 hrs out of it. I can cruse for about 20 hrs on Liberty. I wish I was the only one with a battery problem from CM7 but once the battery drain is found and fixed I will be back with bells on.

True dat. It's a known fact about the battery life w/ cm4dx. I'm almost tempted to go back to GB, but the speed of CM has kept me hanging in there.

I just got my replacement phone which was on the GB OTA so I did the .340 SBF then installed CM7 and tried to restore a back up and it would just seem to sit on reloading the data, I finally killed it after 2 hours (the back up file was 1.9 GB with 256 apps installed) so I decided to start over fresh (Even copied the files I needed from my SD card and formated that).

All I needed was the most recent nightly (I used #21 at the time) and then the gapps zip and the camera/camcorder zip. I did them each in different sessions just to be safe and I am up and running great right now. I am having no issues at this time, which makes me VERY happy! :D

OK - so I've been deciding whether or not to head back to this and last night I took the plunge - did the all in one and flashed #20. I was on Liberty .8 prior to this. The one glaring thing I've noticed so far is PowerAmp is crackling like crazy through my speakers. I've never had this with any ROM or stock before. Anyone else experiencing this? If so, have you been able to locate the problem and fix it? This is a 100% deal killer for me - I listen to music literally all day long. Boo

did you go into the DSP and mess with the settings to see if that changes anything for you?

I don't even use DSP Manager. Power Amp has it's own eq which is why I purchased it. But good idea.

I'm running Google Music now and I don't hear any cracking...at all. I wonder if PA doesn't mesh with CM7 for some reason. I didn't notice this when I was on Nightly 7. I'll try an uninstall, reinstall and will reset all of the settings manually. I reinstalled via TB and reinstalled the data too. I tweaked the settings to perfection and I'd hate to lose them but there's a very good chance it's a system to system issue since CM7 is built from scratch and Liberty was not. I will report back later if this works.
