What's the worst pain you've ever experienced?

i have dislocated shoulders during lacrosse games, kept playing. bruised and broken ribs during lacrosse games, kept playing. had my thumb cut open from my big sister "handing" me scissors, when i was little. broken arms. a tooth from a fellow middle schooler lodged in my head from when we collided in one winter touch football game long ago. a virus in the sack that surrounds the heart (chest pains). Removal of a urethral tube (wasnt THAT bad). hell i even had to learn to walk all over again.

i had a stroke, didn't hurt, just the headache before... the worst pain through it all was the spinal. they couldnt finish because i was wiggling around so bad. OUCHHHHH
 
I would have to say giving birth would be the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced.... twice.
 
I woke up after surgery on my foot with 9 screws and a plate installed. The nurse said just press this button and morphine will go into your IV to help with the pain. I started clicking that button like there was no tomorrow and it did nothing for the pain. My wife complained and I was given a shot that knocked me out again. Later my foot would swell inside of the cast. To help with the pain I was given a shot every 12 hours to help with the pain. The only problem was that the pain came back every 11 hours. My own back problems have made me more sympathetic to others complaints about pain.
 
Those iv pain buttons are set up with a fail safe that its program to give only so much medicine over like a 30 to an hour time limit. No matter how many times you press it. In the end some people takes pain better than others. When I got my fingers mangled in a machine belt. I took no pain meds and I even had skin graphs done. Sure it hurt like heck but I managed it on my own.
 
When i had my broken fibula set while I was awake. So much pain, but the relief after was totally worth it.
 
I think the worst pain I have ever felt is having my nipples pierced. I've had various injuries here and there, but nothing hurt as bad as that!

Probably stubbing my pinky toesy on a steel chair. LOL

I've had a lot of pretty bad pain but nothing that really sticks out as much as stubbing my wittle toesy.

And your wife hasn't taken away your bike?!?!?! I think you got more luck than a cat with 9 lives. You are one lucky bastard, that's all I have to say! :P

....my biggest fear if I want to have kids. I might adopt...or win the lottery and have another woman carry my kids >_>;;;

When I was 6, I tripped while skipping rope to school and fell on shards of glasses that were on the street. I had 6 pieces that went into my knees. I think it was pretty deep since I remember seeing white stuff, pink stuff and green stuff bulging out and blood running down my leg. I don't remember how painful it was. The only memory I have was that seeing all of the inside of my knees bulging out was scary and made me cry even harder. It looked like the inside of my knee was coming out. I think the sight was more painful than the pain itself. I wish I had a picture of how my knee looked like at that time, lol. Best part...2 pieces were still in my knee after the operation...got those out 4 years later when I had pain in that knee when I walked.
 
Crushed my middle finger in a cherry picker, had to have it set with a pin. Not good. When I was 6 I had a pot of boiling beans hit my leg, hello 2nd degree burns and skin grafts.

Yeah, to say I've been lucky is like saying Michael Jordan was a decent basketball player. To this day I don't have any long-term issues either which is equally amazing. I have near superhuman healing abilities so I really don't have a whole lot of scars to show for all the excitement either. It's good in a way because I look pretty normal (aside from the ugly I was born with but you can't wash that off) but also bad because I've seen people with larger scars and worse stories to go along with them. Some people think my stories are BS because I'm pretty much good as new. My life either really loved me to let me do what I loved regardless of how dangerous it was or really hated me. depending on how you look at it. As for riding... I'm done. That last little scrape up was the last straw for me. I now drive a car that is a 5-star safety rated vehicle full time. :D

This reminds me of the time I sliced my leg open when I was a kid. My and my cousins/friends were all playing guns (a made up game most boys played where you run around outside in relatives army fatigues shooting your fingers at each other) and I got tackled out front of my aunt's house which was next door to my grandma & Grandpa's house. I got dog piled on by all the other kids and suddenly there was a loud pop in my leg followed by sharp pain. At first I thought I broke my leg but my uncle (Army Medic) came running over as I rolled over on my back and saw my leg. He wouldn't let me sit up to look at it and everyone was talking about how bad it was. After what seemed like 5min of begging them to let me sit up and see it they finally did. I had a gash that was opened several inches across the entire width of my shin that went down to the bone. I could see the layers and finally a large amount of bone. My response upon finally seeing it? "Cool."

I also got bit by a dog (75lb chow) the same summer and got an infection from the puncture wounds. It was the same leg on the calf as I was running away.

Oh, I also forgot to mention the blood clot I sustained in the motorcycle/deer accident I mentioned above. It was in the large vain in my thy that leads back to my heart and was trapped near my pelvis. Holy crap that was painful. I guess it was pretty life threatening too based on how nervous everyone was around me. I guess it could have dislodged and headed right for my heart/lungs which would have spelled disaster for me. They put me on some coumadin and it sort of went away on it's own after a while. If you can remember what it was like to have growing pains in your legs as a child it's that sort of pain but much more intense that was deep inside my thigh towards my pelvis up from groin. Not fun.

I wish I don't scar :( I hate that ugly scar on my knee. Good to hear that you don't bike anymore. I don't think it's a good idea to push that great luck of yours ;)

Though driving a motorcycle...well being on one, lol, is on my bucket list :)

Yeah, my wife scars pretty good so she hates that I don't. As for bike riding.. here's some pics of me being a safe (:D) rider:

Those were all from quite a long time ago now... over a decade. Back when I had zero sense of self preservation. Now I'm a little more wise.

Here's the bike that got destroyed in my last motorcycle accident shortly before the accident happened. Feels good to say it was in my last motorcycle accident. I don't want to deal with those anymore.

It was fun but I've seen too much death (not to count the serious injuries) as a result of motorcycle riding to want to do it anymore.

Nope, no face plants. Not that day anyway. We had a LOT of photos that day and none ended in me going over. In fact the only time I went down doing a stoppie was when I hit an oil spot in a parking lot. I found out after the fact that a bunch of rednecks poured fresh oil on the pavement to do smokey burnouts the night before. It was a Saturday night and I was coming in to meet some buddies who were sitting there and I had no way to see it. I hit it at about 45mph and went down pretty hard when the front end washed out. Nothing broken and the bike fared pretty well too and only required cosmetic repairs along with foot pegs and levers but those things bent/broke if you looked at them wrong so it was pretty common.
 
Toss up between:

Getting attacked by a dog and getting the wounds cleaned at the hospital. Long story short...It was a police dog so they probably didnt let me get anything to numb the pain. The doc, nurse used a 2 sided brush. One side had metal bristles. The pain was so bad...tears just rolled down my face...no noise...it was almost like I was in shock.

And the only thing that made the police stop the dog from biting me anymore was he nipped near my ding dong.

Getting kicked in the balls by a girl. Getting kicked in the ding dong isnt bad. The balls? It was a delayed feeling....my stomach started hurting and I just dropped down to the ground...I almost threw up...

The things you go thru when a girl likes you...lol. I was in Jr High when she did that.
