Why on EARTH would Verizon release a Nexus Prime (whatever) with a QWERTY slideout when the Stratosphere is being released October 20th? The slider has GOT to be on another network.

There's no chance Stratosphere could be Droid Prime, is there? This could become a horror story.

If this thing comes with a slide out qwerty I am done. I may switch to T-Mo or whoever has an unmolested NEXUS version of this device.

Verizon is really making me mad lately. I bought the Bionic full retail and returned in less than 24 hours! The new "Blur" is :eek::eek::eek:!! it is basically a Droid X 2.5.

I actually liked my original X better. All I want is a preferably stock build of Android on good hardware with a freaking humongous display lol.

I already did but that was harsh Steven ;)

Yeah, it was, wasn't it? :D

I'm guessing if there is a slider, it's with AT&T, just as in the case of the Galaxy class phones.

I'm not on Verizon and don't plan to be, but you guys need to relax

So far the guy was pretty much talking about Verizon, so you'd assume that the Verizon model will have a keyboard, BUT guys guys guys, no need to overreact just yet. .This is just some crap poem, and I wouldn't take it that seriously just yet.

If this guy had CREDIBLE INFORMATION he would give that information for what it is, ,he wouldn't be making riddles of random SH*T. .This is ALL FOR ATTENTION, and he got it, and is continuing to get it with us buzzing the forums about it.

I was thinking the same as the other guy. .Isn't the point of ICS all about being a button-LESS device pretty much ? . .Keyboard would mean the opposite of that lol

So lets just wait and find out for sure what it will be, and even if you are on Verizon i don't understand why you'd worry. .The Vigor is almost here, LG is ALSO bringing their monster to the states in about a month or 2, so you guys have NOTHING to worry about. .Those are some BEAST phones coming to your networks.

I talked to BATMAN and ROBIN to see if we could decode this riddle, and they said that this riddle has WAY TOO MANY LOOP HOLES and does not in any way translate into any real facts, but starts more speculations instead. So they took their masks off and and sadly said "God we miss Joker"

No chance of a physical keyboard on an ICS phone to compete with the IPhone. I thought about making up a dumbass poem to say it but that would be dbagesque.

There will be NO physical keyboard. Nope, zip, nada. TFleming can take a flyin' leap......and as far as his "poetry" goes......he shouldn't quit his day job.
Now everyone just breathe deeply and relax.....

I was hoping he would tell things like processor (omap4 or exynos?), ICS version (2.4 or 4.0?), screen size, etc, not this keyboard crap. guess he doesn't have anything like that to reveal.

Just to clarify...TFlemming did not author the poem. He merely published it. It was written by a credible source with a history of writing these cryptic poems, black_man_x. Some of the responses above give me the impression some of you think this is a random dude throwing out random info. I'd say there is fair reason to be a little concerned about the "grey area" that is the hinted keyboard. Now if you say you doubt the original author, that's another story. I think the guy is credible.

If ICS does not have the typical home keys, does that lend more credence for the need of a keyboard for some? Arrows and such for navigation?

Because I already have a POS Thunderbolt and really don't want another HTC phone. Or LG.

Almost the same thing here:

Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming before the DROID Prime | Android Community

Seems like the rumor's out that the Prime and Nexus are now two discrete devices, and everyone's running with it. TFleming must be having a field day with this.

So is one keyboarded and the other not? Who knows? But with a November 3rd launch date out there, we need to start seeing some FCC clearance on these gadgets pretty soon.

EDIT: I'm now thinking that Droid Prime will come to Verizon all loaded up with crap, and Nexus Prime - basically the same hardware - will go to the other carriers. What think you?

I have been under impression that verizon one won't have Nexus name since BGR news on Verizon Driod Prime came up. So it will be loaded with usual verizon bloats and other carriers will get Nexus Prime, but apparently some folks still have hoped for pure Nexus on verizon. I don't like it either, but will give it about month to see if bloats really affects Droid prime badly before trying to get rid of them.

Here is the deal Verizon is special so they had to have a device with a different name then the other carriers. So all carriers get the device but Verizon gets a special name for theirs.
