Samsung is suing Apple over the new iPhone...
LAWSUIT
Sammy making Apple its b*tch makes me totally LOL
I wish I could tell you that iOS fought the good fight, and that Samsung let it be. I wish I could tell you that--but litigation is no fairy-tale world.
The OMAP4460 chipset comes with the SGX540 GPU...same GPU as Nexus S and Galaxy S I series. That tech is quite old these days aka its been available commercially for 18months.
Suprised nobody is really making note of this...especially since the phone will be pushing alot more pixels.. seems like its going to break the back of that GPU in games lol
Would be nice if it did infact have the Exynos. But most leaks have said OMAP4460 :/
The 4460's GPU is 26% faster than 4430, but will have 78% more pixels to move around in Prime as compared to Bionic. So you can guess 3D will suffer, but I have no idea whether 2D operations are as sensitive to clock speed. All SGX540 are not created equal.
The SGX540 in the Hummingbird SoC (Nexus S, Galaxy S) is clocked at 200MHz.
The SGX540 in the OMAP4430 (Optimus, Droid3, Droid Bionic) is clocked at 300MHz.
The SGX540 in the OMAP4460 is clocked at 384MHz.
So it should be close to TWICE as powerful as the SGS GPU and significantly faster than the Droid3/Bionic GPU.
As an AT&T customer, I couldn't care less about whether verizon is getting it or not. All signs point to them getting a variant of the prime, whether its Nexus prime or Droid prime is a matter of semantics.I hate to be a buzz kill, but,
The announcement on the 11th my only be for a world phone and not have anything to do with verizon.
I still say that Verizon is getting a variant of the SGSII-HD instead of the true Nexus Prime.

I just pray that AT&Tgets a shot at it in the first launch rather than a few months later, which was the case with the N1 and the NS.
Just remember there are 57 pages of nothing here,no facts.
So trueNo, no... Much more than that.![]()

I think it's fact that there are like 5 women following this thread.LOL.

The only true fact is that the GT-i9250 and SCH-i515 have passed wifi and bluetooth certs. But what are the 2 model numbers?
I'm not sold on the tablet theory either, but i will update the OP with that "hypothesis."
I really hope so. I would like to have this rumored phone just as much as everyone here.I highly doubt it. Most rumors point to Nexus coming to Verizon. Yes, I know that they are rumors, and I'm not even including my sister's texts (because it's really just hearsay when you get down to it, even if it is at Verizon), but black_man_x has been spot on before and he says Nexus Prime is coming to Verizon on November 3.
An announcement on the 11th fits too well.
It could be a tablet accessory plus other accessories. In Google IO 2011, Google introducted the Android Open Accessory API and Development Kit (ADK). Also, Google is buying Motorola which have the Atrix. Here's the link to the ADK presentation at Google IO 2011. It's about 40 minutes long.
Google I/O 2011
Also it's fact that Steven58 and Han Solo are super psyched about the anouncement next week,. . ..

Here's that info from AC:
"Nothing I can really show you without people screaming "FAKE!", but a reliable tipster's shown me a Word doc that points to a possible Oct. 27 launch. Certainly in the realm of possibility since we're expecting an Oct 11 announcement.
Note that it's also listed as the "Samsung Prime" -- no mention of "Nexus." Not sure whether to worry about that. But gut says not to. Also says it's a replacement for the Droid Charge"
You know, I don't know if someone has released a ROM or theme with TouchWhiz but if so, then yes. I wouldn't expect it from the manufacturer, but from the dev community...perhaps. Anyone else know if TouchWhiz port is somebody's pet project? Perhaps not for the brand-spankin' new ICS; at least not yet. Will Samsung provide a way to install the apps on the Nexus Prime?
Hello! I'm Bat (yes, female, is that 6?) and I am... Shock horror... An iPhone 4 user. Love it, but not the rubbish call quality/antenna issues. Have dabbled in Android before with a Desire HD (rubbish battery) and did enjoy it, but was let down by the apps. Due an upgrade, and thanks to Apple letting me down with the 4S, I think I'll go back to Android. Yay, customisation and widgets! The Nexus Prime is looking (via rumours) like a beast of a device, and (although I'm slightly wary that my small hands may not be able to cope) I think I would like this to be my next device. Getting quite excited about the announcement! And it looks so good, from the video!
Hope you all don't mind a relatively unexperienced, but gadget obsessed girl joining the fray! This thread is epic, by the way!
Shut up, Bat, just shut up!
