so here is my opinion:

1. Samsung Galaxy Nexus (SCH-i515):

-another version of the nexus prime, exclusively for verizon
- will be released on november 3rd
- CDMA
- OMAP 4460 (incl PowerVr SGX540 @~380MHz)
- 1GB Ram
- 4,65" curved HD SuperAMOLED Screen
- 5MP Camera
- Very thin & light
- 32GB internal storage, NO microSD-Card-Slot
- no touchwiz / verizon bloatware, as it has got the 'nexus' in it's name
- 1750mA/h battery
- 4g LTE & NFC

2. [Samsung] Google Nexus Prime (I9250 | US-Version)

-will be announced soon, and released ~ 2-4 weeks after the galaxy nexus
- GSM
- exynos 1.5GHz dual-core soc (probably the exynos 4212)
- 1GB Ram
- 4,65" curved HD SuperAMOLED Screen
- 8MP Camera with an enhanced sensor & lens
- Very thin (maybe not as thin as the galaxy nexus) & light
- no touchwiz, pure vanilla
- HSPA+ only
- NFC
- ~2000mA/h battery

2.5 [Samsung] Google Nexus Prime (I9250 | EU-Version)

- same as the US-I9250, but with 4G LTE support and maybe an earlier release

that's what i think of all these rumours.. i know you guys don't like it, but face it... verizon always got the 'crappy' (compared to the other ones [but not so bad at all]) ones...

well maybe i'm wrong, but i'd like the EU-Version to come with these specs :D

As a Verizon customer by necessity I must say this:

If this IS what happens, I will be SERIOUSLY PISSED OFF!!!

Got that VZ_Wired???

Just to show how volatile this info is right now. From IRC:

[09:32] <@jcase> apparently i maybe wrong about the no sdcard slot, i could of interpreted "no sdcard" as not having a slot, instead of not coming with one.

My new mantra: Believe nothing. CK was right.

Man this really is a rollercoaster! First tons of great news and pics. Now, it's all downer info. We better get some promising news today, and fast!

Maybe VZ_wired was implying that we would be RELATIVELY "very happy"... as compared to the other Android crap Verizon's been throwing at us lately. Once again the rest of the planet gets the steak, we get the gristle.

My nervousness meter is creeping into the redline zone very quickly...

Dropbox or something similar may be useful to manage more files than can fit in internal memory and/or provide a more convenient backup/restore ability.

Funny, I'd much rather have 8GB internal and ship w/empty SDCard slot than have 32GB internal and no slot.

Yes, the bar really wasn't set too high. :-(

Once, just once though Verizon should allow us the taste of some filet...

Relatively very happy isn't going to cut it. That's kinda like picking up some oinker at a bar and bragging to your friends that she was "relatively hot!" Relative to me more than likely isn't relative to Verizon.

No way the US version won't have LTE. (did I say that right or was that too many double negatives - I meant that VZW would have to have LTE on this phone or there would be so many riots in geekdom that no tech support would be available in any company for weeks)

Well, I'm all caught up. It seems to me that we are like a dog chasing is tail. Once again, I am wondering if the people, who are in the know, are reading our thread and laughing at us.

Personally, I'm not married to buying this when it comes out. I'll have to check out the specs and battery life. Then, I'll have to read real world reviews from purchasers.

There are a lot of nice phones on the horizon, including phones with quad core and better battery life. If the game changer is that it docks with a tablet, well, I don't need a tablet. Now what?

Our source did day the Moto had good battery life, which means it's better than the NP, to me.

I'm a bit tired, too, and would love to have another bone thrown our way.

Just sayin'.

I certainly don't see how S/he could think we would be very happy with these specs. An old GPU that it's main competitor blows out of the water. No SD Card slot. Horrible battery life. No removable battery. If all of these come to pass or just some of them, I don't see this as a "game changer".

I would be extremely upset. And I know that VZN has me by the short hairs with the unlimited data so they don't think I will leave. But if we keep getting the shaft hardware-wise, what is there to really stay for? What good is unlimited LTE without good hardware to enjoy it?

Yes I am pushing the panic button. Yes I know this is all just rumors. But given VZN's track record, I agree with Chief that this may be what THEY think will make us "very happy"

I'm sure it'll have LTE, Droidette, and that's the problem: You slap a 1750MAh battery in a high-definition LTE phone and it's gonna crap out in a few hours.

Steven, your "source(s)" better assuage the restless natives soon or we may show up at the Googleplex with torches and pitchforks!

If Nexus isn't a LTE equipped phone I'm not getting it. Period.

I can wait. I have patience.

Morning Steven. I feel the need for some major positivity today. Starting to get that nagging feeling of doubt. Trying hard to ward it off.

Seems as if Sammy/Verizon are risking losing their target demographic due to delays and shenanigans. Our fellow peeps are reduced to feeling like strung-out toddlers hopped up on too much Halloween candy and crashing in a sobbing mess.

Real backlash? Going to another device? *gasp* people slinking off to Apple due to frustration?

5-6 hours of continuous use seems reasonable (I think?)

I don't know how much I use my phone throughout the day, but my primary uses are reading websites, checking facebook, watching the occasional youtube clip, and listening to music. This is during a typical work week. On the weekends when I am out and about doing stuff, I also like to take pictures. I make maybe 1-3 phone calls a day.

I can't imagine that I use my phone for 5-6 hours in a day. Especially on work days, when I get home around 5 and go to bed around midnight. 12-5 = 7. Out of those 7 hours I am home, I am not on my phone for 5-6 hours.

I also imagine that 4g coverage might also play a major role in battery life. My friend has a tbolt, and when he turns off 4g, his battery lasts significantly longer (so he says).

Good morning Primers! It's a nasty, rainy day outside and I have the day off of work. You know where I'll be
Anyway, I'm still a little concerned about the announcement being in Hong Kong. I can't believe they would announce something there that is supposed to land on Verizon first. If it's going to work out like the SGS2 (which I know is very doubtful), I'll be one sad panda :(

They could announce it on the moon. The venue really doesnt matter anymore now that it was canceled here in the US. All they need to do is go back and rewrite the presentation.

Is Hong Kong the ideal place to announce it? No but things have changed since it was canceled. To me NOT announcing it then would not make any sense. Its the perfect opportunity. Change up the presentation to fit both countries and you just killed two birds with one stone.

The rumored launch is anywhere from the 27th to the 3rd the 18th/19th is perfect timing. Those be my thoughts
