first of all you can bet your ass the camera will be inferior to the iphone 4s, that's a given. Add the fact that it's only 5mp and that's just overkill.

Then you have an inferior GPU.. whats up with this? it may have a 1.5 CPU but wasn't the GPU in the nexus released in 2007? correct me if im wrong.

Another thing, you can get the iphone 4s in a 64gb model, the androids usualy counter this with sdcard expansion... but not this one.

The one thing that makes me geekout is the screen, that alone probably makes it the best phone in the planet but still.. very dissapointing, I wouldnt be surprised if the iphone 4s beats this phone in a benchmark test.

I am crossing my fingers so that they add a better gpu.

I aggree with your thoughts and adding galaxy note as a solution/replace to IP4S. And even with better screen

They'll certainly have a new phone to run it on. My question is whether or not we'll hear anything about a US release since VZW is supposed to have exclusivity for a while.

I'd assume that any phone shown at the announcement would be identical to the one we see in the US (except for the radio), but with all the rumors of different specs and the possibility of different version for the US and the rest of the world, I wouldn't be willing to put money on it.

Boo no SD slot. :mad: Hopefully we get the 32GB internal storage then...and the ability to plug external HDDs in, as was shown on the XDA thread.

I have a 16 gig card in my Inspire thats full to the brim. I can deal with no SD card as long as enough is partitioned off for storage. 16gig or 32 gig. Hell, they need to give us a choice of both, ala Apple.
 
Random thought. On smart phones especially don't you think it would be nice to have a built in solar panel or sensor for additional battery life?

I've read that 27th is for a London event where they'll introduce the Galaxy Note. That's what I read anyway (wasn't the Galaxy Note already unveiled at IFA in Germany?)

Samsung to hold event on 27 October... But not for Nexus Prime - Pocket-lint
