well, there you go, sorry, I forgot about having to sign up. I did 2 months ago and I guess my browser automatically logs me in when i go there. i saw some other links people posted for you in another thread, did you finally get the files?

ok so i added another section to the list. it is sense 3.5. i only have added the energy rom to it as the devs says that it is not a beta. i will be moving those that are in beta to that section as soon as they are a final release.

also i took down the bliss rom as it is not going anywhere anymore. but, i added the fearmede rom and the runny bliss hybrid rom to the beta section.

i also updated the xplod rom as well.

Hi everyone, I would appreciate any help. I rooted about 6 months ago and have been running stock 2.2. Well i am wondering if i should flash a new GB rom and if so what is most like stock? I am mostly concerned with keeping everything working (4g etc) and using my wireless teather. Any help would be appreciated. Also what are the benifits of going to a newer version of sense if any? Thanks in advance.

Hands down MikG is probably the best thing that happened to my phone. The above conversations people are having is for the MikG ROM, The latest version that is out right now is version 2.56 Just do it man. I like you bugged the hell out of ocnbrze, nick, and Xtreme. You can see all my questions in Rooting for Dummies. They were really enough to show me towards the MikG Roms. I hope this helps!

man you are missing out on some great roms that are floating around. mikg is probably the best rom for you to venture out into the gingerbread world. it is fast, stable, and very stock looking. however, it has sense 2.1 and some sense 3.0 built into it and everything works. just make a nandroid backup and flash away.i guarantee that you will like mikg. it is waaaaaaaaaay better then stock.

im getting a forclose error on my superuser (root) any suggestions before i do a full wipe
evo
andriod ver. 2.3.3
htc sense 2.1
software mik 2.56
hardware 0003

yup did that that and even un installed it and re installed it
so what i just finished doing is fatory reset, wipe factory reset along with full wipe of phone and SD card.... re-installed rooted gingerbread 3.70, saw that my root is working,.... now im wiped data and dav cache and cache also downloaded mik2.56 its now uploading

is this a rom like the supersonic 3.70 or tottaly differnt? what is sns 4.53

it is just a stock 4.53 rom with all of the bloatware removed. click on the the thread to check out the details. it should have the changelog which usually lists what is added or removed from the rom. it might also have additional info as far as installation instructions.

Hi, I am very new to this site and to rooting for that matter. I have a question, would I ask it here or do I have to go somewhere else? Thanks in advance

please feel to ask if you have any questions. but i would ask it in the main rooting section rather then in this thread. your question would be answered better if you search to see if your question has already come up and if not then just create your own thread. looking forward to here from you. this is a great forum and please feel free to ask away.

moved the supersonic3d by mik to the sense 3.5 section as it is now out of beta. also changed the name in the poll for supersonic 3d as well.

Hey gang, running synergy with god mode & stock kernel. It's good, but I'm still new to the root scene, and wanna keep exploring. Going for destroyer v2 next. Read all posts in this thread & his adx page, everyone says stock kernel will work, and but isn't dest v2 built off cm7 & therefore aosp? Would it work better with an aosp kernel? Also, the do I need to flash new kernel GApps &/or themes right when I flash rom, and & in any order! Fantastic thread, btw. Learned lots.

every rom has a stock kernel of sorts. a rom needs a kernel to run or the rom will not work. so when you hear about a stock kernel, it is not referencing the gingerbread sense stock kernel, but rather just a kernel that comes with the rom.

and destroyer is a cm7 based rom and thus an aosp rom so you will need an aosp kernel. try the tiamat sbc 4.0.8 kernel. it is an aosp kernel and has given mist people better battery life.

Wow. I can't even believe the speed of your reply. The active support of this community has given me the confidence to get in there & start tinkering with virtually zero previous know how... And SUCCEEDING! Thanks!
