Bottom line for me, I want the Nexus Prime (I refuse to call it the Galaxy Nexus) because:

- I'm a T-Mobile G1 holdout
- I realize that physical keyboards are a dying breed just like x1200 / 16-10 monitors
- I like Optimus Prime x.O
- I had pancakes this morning


My one curiousity about the phone though: how quick will the shutter speed be? Most phones I've toyed with take a few seconds until the picture is taken, at which point the intended picture could be a lost moment.

Thanks chief and vice versa...it was great to be able to discuss all our differing opinions and speculations.

We are all real fans of this phone and there's nothing wrong with being critical or skeptical at times. If you are a football fan you do it with your favorite team. Does it make you less of a fan? I don't think so.

Thanks everyone for some good times. We are almost ready to wrap this up. I'm hoping to join the Nexus ranks. Regardless of anyone's decision this will be a phenomenal phone.

I prefer to debate/discuss with someone who is a worthy adversary, lol. Maybe you decide on this one in the end anyway. :)

i will call it Droid nexus or Optimus Prime I just don't like the fact that Galaxy Series reminds me of Touchwiz

Ya gotta give them somewhere to actually put stuff in the phone. There can't be much room inside behind the screen and touch sensors.
 
Well, it was nice to see the interaction of the on-screen buttons. While watching the latest video, around the time he is look at the about page, they flip to the top of the phone and the icons rotate. very nice to see they are not just locked to the screen.

Very excited.
