No social app should be native. If it's native and I can't remove it, that's called Bloatware (remember how we all hate that stuff?).One thing I haven't seen mentioned is Facebook. I know they said social media is an integral part of the Nexus and ICS, but I only saw Google+, Twitter, Picassa, but nothing about Facebook. Does anyone know if Facebook will be native to ICS or will we have to download the app? I like being able to select what social media I want on my phone and it automatically links contacts for me.

Ok guys, we need to start bombarding VZW with frequent and public requests for information. I suggest posting and commenting on their Facebook page. I just did it, I recommend you all do it as well.
Why is no... | Facebook
No foul language or anything like that, just call them out on what they're doing to our poor cereal killer.

I can think of at least two.
1) VZW is no longer going to offer it, which I'm assuming is what you're saying
2) VZW is supposed to be the one to announce it, for a variety of reasons, including exclusivity agreements, conflicts with other Droid products and their pre-orders, among others.
So, it turned out that BGR was the closest predictor of specs. Go figure.
A lot of people have questioned the announcements of Motorola's RAZR and Sumsung's Galaxy Nexus on the same date (North America). I've read comments all over the interwebs about how "stupid" this company was or how "dumb" that decision was, etc.
Obviously Moto and Verizon didn't want this to go down the way it did. In my opinion that's why we haven't seen anything official yet and why it will be a few days before VZW makes the announcement. I can see why Moto and VZW would be pissed at Google and Samsung for the timing of their release. I think this "delayed" announcement is probably part of the agreed upon schedule between all four parties.
But what the heck to I know?
Gladly signed up on the Samsung site! Whoot
And if CK and I's mild concerns become reality it stays open forever and get's stickied as a reminder for all future VZW intended hardware releases?
VZW isn't pushing the Nexus. That's all Google and Samsung. Now, VZW isn't about to say no to another device that drives customers to their stores - they win as long as you sign up for a new contract or contract extension.
Exactly as someone who looks and types surprisingly like me predicted. Verizon is going to sell it, sure... but they're going to play it WAYYYY down while sinking all their marketing money and efforts into the RAZR.
Nexus will sit in the smartphone section with little more than a label with features and price. RAZR will get the commercials, ads, signs, and reps pushing it like crystal meth.![]()
