So any ETA when we'll get jelly bean on our galaxy nexus?

Right after they release it on Verizon....which may never happen :) ....Seriously though, this is definitely coming to VZW and as an ATT customer I'm going to have to wait and watch....grr.... Enjoy this magnificent device VZ'rs. Wish I had one.

Omg - 5 hours since I last checked and I think there were well over 150 posts. I haven't seen this kind of movement since the DInc thread.

On topic - I just want to see the home page of big red change to give us a date.

To all the doubting Thomas's out there I say this, If they released the Thunderbolt with all its MAJOR issues after A TON of delays then I feel confident the Gary Gnu Gnexus is coming.

There was no Google hot poker poking VZW to see how they react with that device and it had to launch to make the fancy and quickly expanding LTE network relevant with more than one or two devices FOR AWHILE with what was probably known of Bionic at that point.

What happened with Thunderbolt launch anyhow?

Raging tweets, roller-coaster of failed Verizon release date announcement after multiple reliable rumors, phone going from general users' expectation of early set back until well after the iPhone 4 release - that whole forum made this thread look like a Girl Scout picnic.

BMX even grabbed an account here to try to square things away and explain how things were changing under him.

With 6 mods openly posting at once, locking flame threads, giving infractions, temp bans and perma bans to stem the tide of flame flooding, BMX called it quits.

He may have returned later, long after release - honestly didn't check.

How far off is the processor in the nexus prime compared to GSII? Is it that bad? (I saw a comparison gpu benchmark site with bunch of star ratings and nexus were always one or two stars while iphone 4s and GSII had 3-5 stars)

If you love games, then you're probably familiar with benchmarks. Pick a game and look at the FPS at 1024x768 resolution. Now look at the same benchmarks for 1900x1200 resolution. One is signifigantly lower. That's what you see with a lot of these benchmarks.

When the iP4 came out, it benchmarked much lower than the iP3S, because it had 4x the pixels to render.

Ahhhh, the good old days....

Dang! Too bad I missed that, sounds AWESOME! I was somewhat aware of the delays and such, but wasn't interested in a new phone at that point as I still didn't have a subsidy quite yet.

Then you had the locked/encrypted bootloader once it showed up which was kinda outta the norm for HTC right? Stuff like that is what has me REAL curious what all is really going on with this device.

Actually it was rooted and had a fully unlocked bootloader within 48 hours.

By far the best thing about the phone
