I am guessing that is where we will find the HDMI output.
So HDMI is via MHL. The "USB port" is MHL. Forgetting source. Too tired to find it. Using Phandroid app. Getting this phone no matter what!

Fantastic....my concerns are put at ease between your's and jasaero's posts. It was a major concern for me to be completely honest.I don't use it, take what I say with that in mind.
I don't know.
It's not necessarily true that it has to be a big performance hit at all.
I run a full Ubuntu Linux on my phone, with the full desktop sometimes projected to my laptop courtesy of VNC. Simultaneously and parallel to that, I can make calls on my phone and run other Android apps.
The secret sauce is that it's easy to create another virtual machine in ram, and run a full Linux in that *controlled essentially as another Android app by the system. *
I'm pulling this stunt running stuff like the full Open Office and GIMP.
Like I said, I don't know firsthand, but based on that, I would think something as simple as WebTop would be a cake walk with good hardware.
Sorry I didn't have the easy answer. Sorrier it seems I rarely do. (sigh) Details here if you're still interested. The diagram shows the desktop projected to my phone courtesy of AndroidVNC, but can go as easily to a desktop via wifi/VNC.

Agree 100% if this is true, but I don't think he was talking about Steven. kcs has been a really good poster so far, and very appreciative in general. Look at this thanks to thanked ratio. He is one thankful dude!
I think it was directed at the Windsock.
Steven,
I just wanted to check in, solely because of all the negativity surrounding the possible release/cancellation of the Verizon version of SGN.
I talked with 4 different (Verizon) people today,(information deleted) and all say that Verizon is DEFINITELY getting this device in "early November". I can't say if it's the 3rd or the 10th, because I honestly don't know, but I haven't been told that the date of the 3rd has changed. That could go either way. But it will DEFINITELY hit stores early November. (Information deleted) Spoke to a recent tester of the device, and he/she says that there is NO PROBLEM with 4G connectivity, and he's not sure where that rumor came from.
You're not going to see anything resembling the push that RAZR is going to get with marketing, but it will be in stores. Early November.
Hope that helps.
It's a good day in the neighborhood! Mangia Bene!

We have a whole thread on it in this forum, should answer all questions.
Did he say anything about me, Steven? Did he mention me at all, maybe about how cool my avatar is or anything like that?
Seriously, thanks Steven for being the catcher of all the Love Tunnel spillage. No surprise he chose to talk to you, you're the coolest Mod around! (No offense to Early or OTD. Not a lot of offense, I mean.)
Good night, all!
Thanks to Steven and his Love Tunnel, I shall sleep dreaming of ice cream sandwiches and kicking in little green P3Droids until they are turned to jelly!
Thanks EarlyMon. I was catching up and responding to some posts regarding the lack of HDMI.
I haven't checked the other thread(s). Does it confirm MHL?
