Am I missing something? Was there ever an "Official Release Date" given or is this still speculation? I thought the Rizound and Nexus were both the 10th.
I checked the OP and it's not updated with an "official release date" either.

Yet more bad news for our US friends, Samsung Galaxy Nexus to launch on 17 November - Telegraph.
Obviously this could be bad info, but it's not looking good.
This is a recycled news article. They have no way of knowing when the US release will hit. Saying it will be at least 1 week after is pure speculation.

If it hits in Europe first, this is just another classic case of Verizon screwing things up. As much as I like the network, they're absolutely bumbling fools when it comes to device releases. Google's flagship device should hit the shelves in the US before or concurrently with any other country, as a matter of principle.
Well, it would be advantageous to the manufacturer to make or buy more of an item due to economies of scale. Some folks really do not have an application for an interchangeable battery meaning they go to work and home and are never into long usages but still....... the option and availability is in thinking of the consumers needs.
I wonder if the Mfg gets off cheaper not needing to produce the spares for store stock? It's pretty obvious the advantage is not for the consumer.
They will sell millions of them.
Maybe the reason VZW is giving all this attention to Moto is contractual...
I would hope that they are really not as ignorant as they seem concerning other phones...![]()

The more batteries sold, period, drives down the overall cost throughout the supply chain. Since Apple sells a gajillion identical phones, they can run a few thousand extra batteries for warranty work.
The Razr won't go anywhere near apple numbers, so they are much more screwed by low quantities.
Just shaking my head!
Let's be careful about appearing to be over frustrated at other members in posts.
It's better for the thread, and for each member's posting rights here, to just step back and figure out a respectful way to convey those frustrations.. and even better to just log out and make a sandwich and cup of tea, rather than risk receiving an infraction/banning etc over such silly things as another member's attitude about phones, etc.![]()
My concern. I think once you have that data plan (especially unlimited), you can't stop it and go back to unlimited. You'd have to go on tiered![]()
I messed up my DINC, and only had a flip phone without data. I just activated a pre-paid line for like 20$. I had to continue to pay for my unlimited data while this wait has been going on, but I think it is worth it.
So any new news from your "source" steven?
