That would be great, but the source did indicate that VZW wanted to space the launch dates out. Granted, we won't know for certain how good "the source" is until his info is finally proven (or disproven) once and for all, but his info seems to be the best and most credible we've received so far.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind at all if they did, and I don't think any consumer would mind at all if they did. But they must have some reservations from a sales point of view in order to be so non-committal with the launch dates of three of their biggest devices all year.

I dont think releasing two phones on the same date is a problem.Dont the automakers release all their cars on the same date? Look how good they are doing.

My brother's friend's mom's hairdresser's husband works at VZW, and according to him, VZW feels so bad for the future GNexers on the Android Forums that they're going to push the GNex out earlier than planned to prove that they care about us, the lowly customer, after all. ;)

I know he's proven credible in the past, but I have a hard time taking him seriously when he can't even compose a coherent tweet... :o

I agree, but out of all of the twitter people that seem to know about the GN, I hate to say it but I trust him the most...(and thats still not a lot!):D
 
Ugh don't even know what to think about release dates.

This is obnoxious now and it's definitely all Verizon on this one. Samsung and Google released dates in the rest of the world, but the US which means one thing.

Yes, it means the US system of tying phones to carriers creates two sets of rules.
