One more thing from my guy - just sent me a message.

If we're going with Thursday releases, that would be either the 17th or post-Black Friday. Then again, this is assuming there is no "strategery" on Verizon's end (i.e., assuming they begin selling ASAP instead of waiting for RAZR/Rezound sales to take off).

I appreciate you posting info from your source, but for the sake of my own sanity I have to not take these dates/leaks seriously. If I had a good, working phone I could afford to have my hopes dashed to pieces, but as it is I am DESPERATE for this phone to come out.

Today pretty much sucked with news... but tomorrow may be more 'vigor'ous with news for the faithful! Here are my thoughts:

If Rezound gets released on 11/10, Verizon may be doing the triple play that was seen in the leaked MAP images. Or not?!

If Rezound is released on 11/14 (unusual), then we may see the unusual continue with that rumored 11/10, 11/14, and then the 11/17 release for the GN.

Since the accessories are listed with an 11/21 release, and since the accessories usually pre-released before the device, that may indicate a BF or 12/1 release. Also, since the Samsung guy on Fox News said again, "later this year" verus "later this month"... that may lead to December, also.

What do you think?

I like where you're going about looking to the Rezound's date as assessing when the G-Nex might be launching.

But where do you have the accessories listed with a release date?

Also, the Sammy guy on Fox News did say later this year, but he can't "out" Verizon. Verizon told us "before year's end" and thus far haven't narrowed that down. The Sammy guy was probably just trying to be consistent with the carrier (whether that means it will launch in Dec or Nov, who knows--just saying it shouldn't be viewed as further evidence pointing to a December launch).

Again, I don't know what release dates for accessories for unreleased phones means, but Amazon has this for the Galaxy Nexus, releasing Nov. 18th.

I could obviously be wrong... but it seems like 3rd party accessory release dates would be less telling than OEM Samsung accessories.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join.

T-Mobile will more than likely get a version of the Galaxy Nexus so leaving wouldn't be a necessity, unless you just want to be on Verizon of course.

What part of Atlanta? I moved from Atlanta to Colorado about 10 months ago.

Yeah, I do want to leave T-Mobile anyway. The coverage up in Jersey and around the city was amazing, the coverage down here...not so much. I'm constantly dropping calls...no big building I've went into (supermarkets, Walmart, Costco, the mall, etc) has service inside...speed tests are all over the place but most of the time I get anywhere from 100-900 kbps down, constantly switching back and forth between EDGE and HSPA. It's awful down here, so needless to say I am in the mood for some great voice coverage and LTE speeds. :D

I'm up in the Kennesaw/Marietta area. It's just easier to say Atlanta. How did you like it when you lived here?

You shouldn't miss it now due to those freak storms. I still have some snow on the ground.

Welcome to our little corner of madness.

Thanks!

I know I'm about to sound a little crazy, but...I do miss the snow! It's nuts I know, especially after last year's winter gave my area in Jersey about 70 inches or so.

During the northeast storm this past weekend, I was outside in shorts and a t-shirt wondering why there wasn't more fall colors at this point in time.

From what I remember with my previous phones, accessories always came out later than the phone. Well, accessories like docks and stuff (not cases).

Remember gents the GSM/European version is launching soon so accessories popping up is nothing unusual.

Verizon isn't the only game in town.
